A bit OT: NWA miles

I booked a flight using my NWA miles for this July. I can't remember if in the past I have earned miles on a worldperks miles flight or not. What I mean is, will I earn miles for my Newark flight even though I "paid" for the flight using my worldperk saved miles?

Just curious.

Redemption awards using airline miles are not eligible to earn miles.

Redemption awards using other forms of 'mileage currency' such as credit card awards etc MAY be eligible to earn miles

Generally you do not receive miles on an award ticket.
