a bit OT: disney vault movies???

I'm trying to familarize my dd2 with the princess' , she's just now getting into them. I have cinderella on dvd and I ordered the little mermaid. I belong to the disney movie club and I dont see sleeping beauty or beauty and the beast and I cant even rent them on netflix (it just says save) Does anyone know when they'll possibly come out or if they are even in the vault?? I have some on vhs but doesnt do me any good anymore i've only got a dvd player anymore. I figure I could get them on ebay but if they are coming out anytime soon i'd love to get them through the disney movie club. Anyone know?

Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast are both in the vault. Sleeping Beauty has only been released on DVD as a special edition. I read online that it will be released as a platinum edition and on Blu-Ray on October 7, 2008. Sounds like a good Christmas present!

Beauty and the Beast has already been released as a platinum edition. It was released on October 2002. I'm not sure the vault period - I want to say it is seven years, so it might be released next fall. I wouldn't expect Disney to release Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty the same year, but I am no expert!

You could always rent them from Blockbuster.

When I try to get vaulted movies - ebay or amazon is a great place to start looking. I don't remember the website, but I recently got a beauty and the beast dvd offline in almost new condition (there wasn't a scratch on it).
