Would you consider any of the above therapies? NLP, by the way, is short for Neuro-Linguistic Programming which can be read about there on the Wiki:

If you feel distinctively AGAINST one of the therapies, please say why.

Any feedback is good feedback!
I would be against this because it’s taking away your freedom of choice and manipulation you to do something that someone else wants. Ethics are questionable. Humans controlled like robots. Lobotomy was considered a treatment for hyperactivity (Rosemary Kennedy case).

Now in the context of psychiatric therapy and an agreed outcome such that you know what is being done (like helping quit smoking or food addiction) AND agree to it (free to choose) then it would be ok.

I would have to research the others to be more informed before I can decide to be for or against anything.

Nope - Not a one - but that may be because I subscribe to what I call the Popeye Philosophy - namely that ‘I Yam what I Yam’….

I am not really familiar with most of those, but I have done life coaching. It was made available by my employer and I was originally against it but I strongly feel like I'm better for it.

I believe that mental health of all kinds is vastly underappreciated in society. I think that some annual visit with a mental health expert of any kind should be just as routine as a physical health check up is. That could include a psychologist or a life coach, behavioral scientist or whatever.

I did a past life regression once a few years ago (was gifted the session) and it was so crazy. Coming out of it felt like coming out of anesthesia, was so weird. And I’m a very stoic, non emotional type person and I actually cried during the session in front of the person doing it which I never in a million years would’ve done. I gave the name of the village I lived in during my last life, my profession, my name and the year I died and when I got home I looked it up and was shocked that there is a village by that name, the primary occupation of its citizens was what I said I was and the name I gave was very common there. And the town was liquidated by the nazis and most were killed the year I said I died. I knew none of this beforehand. It was like watching a movie in my head, but there’s no way I just imagined all that, it was so accurate. Was an awesome experience though and I’d definitely do it again.
