We'll be at WDW 9/23-10/3. My daughter's 7th birthday is a week later, on 10/8 . This is not a birthday trip (we're going camping on her b-day) but I'm wondering if it would be ethical to do *some* birthday-ish stuff while we are there. I wouldn't want her to wear a birthday button, but what if I asked for (ordered in advance, of course) a birthday cake at one of the restaurants?

Has anyone done this or is it super-tacky???

As long as it is a few days, go a head an order cake. If you feel it might be unethical - tell the CM that waits on you that her B. day is ______, but that you would like to celebrate the cake part, here today. I think that is good and totally ethical.

How many people actually get to celebrate their birthday at WDW!!!! I say if it is within reason and 5 days is certainly that go for it!!! - Especially for a childs memories. I probably wouldn't do it for an adult but for a child - she will remember forever how when she turned "___" she had "________" at WDW for her birthday.

Have FUN!!!!

We are going a week after my DD's 3rd birthday. When I called to make ADR's, the CM told me to celebrate it the entire vacation!!! She told me to enjoy every minute-and that the CM's love making a child's birthday special!!!
