to those who gave me ideas on how to fry chicken... I made it tonight and both my son and my husband said it was the best they've ever eaten. I think they are fibbing but it did come out pretty good.
I got worried it might not have fried long enough {even if it was dark} so I baked it for 30 minutes @375 and honestly it came out great.
I used milk to dip it in and then made up a mixture of flour, pepper, lawerys seasoning, garlic granules, chopped up some garlic and mixed it together... dipped the chicken into the dry mix, then into the milk, then into the dry mix and fried it in peanut oil on 6.5 on the stove (out of "10").
My husband said he smelled it way out in the parking lot
He didn't know it was me cooking... heheheee.
