I want to thank you all for answering my questions and helping me with my trip. It was a fantastic vacation!!
Robo, I downloaded your maps to my phone and they came in very handy! I had never seen the Electric parade from frontierland, always caught it on Main St. but it was less of a hassle and we spent less time securing a spot from frontierland. Your maps are truly wonderful and I forwarded them to two work colleagues that were in Disney as well. Thank you for taking the time to share these maps!
Months and months of planning really worked out in the end. My husband and son looked at me in amazement that we never spent more than 10-15 min on line while they saw waits of 60 min.+ for attractions.
I loved using touring plans, found myself using it much more than the free Disney one!
I already spoke about the magic bands in another thread, loved using them, loved purchasing food and souvenirs with them. I had 2 separate ressies and the only problem I had my FP+ selections for the second portion of the trip were wiped out. I was, after much frustration, able to select FP+ for the remaining days except for my day of departure. I wasn't able to select any on the day of departure even though I had paid for a park tix that day. I showed the CM my printout (glad I thought to print out my selections and take it with me) and we were able to ride.
Of course, 3 FP+ a day are definitely not enough. A CM at our resort told us that number may not be the final number. They are just using 3 for the testing phase so who knows if that number will indeed increase; just throwing it out there
