My son found dream ears in his inventory today. He hadn't been checking for them, because he had given up hope on getting any, so it's possible that they've been there for awhile.
I had been planning on giving him the pair that I was so generously (and anonymously...thank you again to you, too!!) gifted if they became tradeable, but he didn't like that idea. This fabulous, sweet 7-year old boy of mine didn't want to take them from me outright, so he worked out a plan in which we could share them with each other.
Today, going through his inventory, he saw that he now has his very own pair of dream ears. I have to tell you, I haven't seen him so excited in quite awhile. He laughed, and he jumped up and down, and he even yelled a little bit. It's made his day. Probably even his week! And the reason he's so excited isn't because he can have his dream ears all to himself, but because he and I can now wear our ears together.
So whoever gifted him his ears, thank you so much! I know it's just a hat, and not even a real one at that. But you've made a really great little boy (if I do say it myself) so, so happy. It means the world to him, and it means the world to me, too.
