One night when I was pregnant with Tailor, Terry woke up at like 2:30 in the morning, and found me in bed surrounded by a large pizza, cheese sticks and chicken wings, and drinking straight from a 2 liter of root beer... He asked me what I was doing... I replied, "Eating." He rolled back over and went right back to sleep... The next morning he asked why there were pizza leftovers on the counter... Umm, duh, I had pizza delivered at 2am... Is that not normal???

I got a really great laugh out of that story! It sounds like something I would do and I'm not pregnant.

Who delivers pizza that late??? Would they ever come up to Hillsboro?

Domino's down here used to deliver until 3am... But a few years ago they went to 2am... I think it is still 2 on Friday and Saturday but like midnight or 1 during the week...

SO do we ever get pics of you and your Mom posted?? How am I suppose to know if we walk by you in the parks or at the resort one day??

oregonparentsof2, are there any of the bus stop benches with animal butts on them in Salem? Those benched crack me up, everytime my non-DBF (that is BF that is of the non-Disney-liking variety) sees one of the bear butts I think he's saying bare butt as if someone is mooning us

For real... it was nuts!!! I didn't get why it was crazy but the truth was that both HS and AK were mad-houses on their EMH PM days. I am never ever going to either park on their EMH day except for the actual EMH. I'm sorry but I am not going to wait in stand-by for KS, KRR, EE, TSM, ToT and RnR for 65 minutes in September which I commonly saw on those EMH days... yuck. Not again.

I know it's hard to believe, I HAD to take a picture of it or no one would believe me. I should have purchased a newspaper and had it in the picture with it... you know, like in those movies with hostages.

Changes to the ADRs and MNSSHP

I'm really not liking online ADRs simply because I keep changing them, sigh... I need to stop it!

The original plan:
Sept 18: MNSSHP
Sept 25: Chef Mickey's 7:00AM and Flying Fish Cafe 7:15PM (HS then Epcot day)
Sept 30: Raglan Road 8:00PM (HS and/or Epcot day and DTD at night)

The new plan:
Sept 18: Raglan Road 5:15PM (MK day, DTD night)
Sept 25: Chef Mickey's 7:00AM and MNSSHP (CM's, EP, nap, late lunch, MNSSHP)
Sept 30: Flyinh Fish Cafe 6:10PM (HS and/or Epcot, dinner, DTD at night)


A good MNSSHP for the 18th heavily relied upon the time we were able to get our room. But since there were too many ifs and we had ADRs on every other potential MNSSHP night (including California Grill, 'Ohana and Narcoosee's all of which are impossible to switch now), I just decided to switch it to Sept 25. We'll also be up the following night until midnight at AK so it'll be ok to have 2 late nights in a row.

I actually wish I could switch MNSSHP to Sept 29th but I couldn't switch 'Ohana at all, oh well though... not a big deal.

Next time, I'm starting my spreadsheet in October.

I KNOW that will be when I'm pregnant and it is me now... sort of. I'm on a diet but once a week I break down and eat at a fast food joint. I just love McDonald's coke & fries dipped in sweet n' sour. I just love food.

The difference between you and me though is that I have no self-control and I do change them, lol.

No, all the people I read here on the DIS who are going Sept 22 are people I would never want to party with jk.

It was going to be our back up if Sept 18 didn't work out but we have an ADR to California Grill at 5:30PM. We should make it to the party in time but I don't want to take the chance. I also looked into moving CG but everytime I check it's either completely unavailble or at a time that is not good.

Seriously, next time I really need to schedule easy to move ADRs on potential MNSSHP days.

OK.....

I didn't go to the zoo today because my best friend Kate (who I was planning on going with) had to run to work last minute in San Francisco. Yes, she works in San Francisco for a PR firm and usually only works Tuesday-Friday so she will often fly up here to Portland since a lot of her family and friends still live here. We were actually on our way to the zoo when the work emergency struck oh well... now she's headed back home. The
zoo isn't going anywhere and I really needed to do some laundry anyway.

I'm definitely ok with going by myself, I'm a fairly independent person but it's just much more fun with her so it can wait a little bit.

Also, this has turned into a very lazy day for me... but after how busy-crazy last week was, it's a very welcomed lady day.

There's some good TV on tonight for me (well, in terms of summer TV).

I have to admit, I am still and Jon & Kate plus 8 fan... but more so just a "plus 8" fan. I fell in love with the show close to the beginning when they were still on Discovery Health so I can't pull myself away from watching those beyond-adorable children. Anyone else a J&K+8 fan here?

Alexis is my favorite.

I miss being able to watch Little People, Big World then Jon & Kate plus 8. I love watching LPBW because they're from my hometown!!! Well, sort of- they're technically in the rural town of Helvatia which is a neighbor town north of us, but a lot of the places you see them filmed are in Hillsboro.

But Weeds is also on tonight! I can't wait!!! I love that show, or pretty much any show on Showtime.

And... fall is coming up soon. Good thing I have a DVR or I'd be in trouble, Weeds, Monk and True Blood should still be going, Californication, 30 Rock, House and The Amazing Race.

Last bus I rode was a Disney one

They're everywhere here, I'll grab a picture of one... they have pictures of bear butts, zebra butts, skunk butts... they're kind of amusing.

I just got finished watching the new episodes, awwww... it's so sad I can't wait to see what the new kitchen looks like.
