Well, I see what being 12 time zones different than most everyone else on the boards can do! I'm a day late and a dollar short; well, I'm always a dollar short it seems, since I haven't seen a dollar in say about 1 and a half years!

I am now 2 pages behind, and missed this rather hair raising start!

I am stunned that you did this!! Seriously, Tim, did Mel just shoot you right there?? I think they might have had to haul my hysterical carcass off the plane and put me in a padded cell! What were you thinking?!

But, I"ve read in a few other TR's that you are not the only one who has done this. I think UT is pretty good about re-issuing or refunding if they are unused and you make the effort to call. I'm pretty sure this will all work out in the end.

When I mowed the lawn this morning it was 43 degrees. I'd say there was a slight difference in temperature!!!!

EDIT- Ughhh I didn't make first page. All my disers that I was following their PTRs I didn't make anyone's first page. I promise I'll try harder next time.

Puppy is her favorite doll. She would take her everywhere if we let her. Puppy has been to Disney 4 times too! LOL

HA! I can only imagine!! Eating crow is never very savory!

I only know too well how this can happen. YOu know what they say about ***-uming! Trust me, we've ALL made these colossal mishaps. Regardless, although, I'm confident it worked out well, I"m hoping it didn't eat up too much of your park/resort/play time. I hope it wasn't too expensive (ie. trips to the UT office) either!

We got our rental car and started the drive from MCO over to POP. It was about 11:30 by the time we were driving out of the parking garage. The temperature gage in the car said 88 degrees. Juliana fell asleep about 10 minutes into the drive so I started taking my time driving. Melody wanted a coffee and we stopped at D&D on International Drive.

While she was getting her coffee I came up with a bright idea! When she got back in the car, we called her Dad who had a key to our house and we called my mom. We had them both go to our house to get the tickets. My mom said she would overnight them to us, but being Saturday we wouldn't get the tickets till Monday. I told her it would work and to call me when they got to the house. We continued driving then we saw this:

Juliana was still sleeping but Mel and I were getting super excited!!! I was following the GPS and we passed CBR then took a left onto Victory Way. At the next light was the entrance to POP.

Getting excited.. Almost there!!!

We stopped at security and the security guard said Welcome home! He checked my ID then we were off to Classic Hall to check in.

We woke up Juliana and walked over to Classic Hall. I got in line for online check in. There was about 6 people in front of me. The line for regular check in was really long, although it was moving quickly. I got to the counter and the CM retrieved our packet. Our room was ready! We were in room 6348 in the 70's section.

SIDE NOTE: On Thursday(10/1), Mommy2LittleVols PMed me and asked if we would like some left over snacks that she didn't want to take home. She left them at the front desk and told me that POP would make a note on my ressie when I checked in. I asked the CM about a package left for me. There wasn't anything noted but she went in the back to see if she could find anything. She came back empty handed and told me to check over at the luggage drop.

We walked out the door to the luggage area. Just then my phone rang. Mel's dad and my mom were at our house. I told her dad where to find our tickets and he couldn't find them!!!! I told him 3-4 different places to look and the tickets were no where to be found!!!!!!!!!!

Up next.. where are the tickets? lunch & our room... To be continued....

Up late last night and now I'm up early this morning. Melody got called into work last night at 12:10am and she didn't get home till 4am! I won waking up with Juliana.LOL

Our parents are really good to us...I'll continue with this debacle in a minute!

Our CM at check in was really nice but she had no idea about the package. So where is it????

SO where was I......

Oh yea. Talking to Melody's dad on the phone. He was looking in all the places I could have put them. I was getting really nervous and I started sweating (not that I wasn't already!!!!) I think my palms were even getting wet. I told him to pull out the entire drawer... they had to be in there. He pulled it out and started pulling out items and placing them on the bed. He found our old N.E. tickets. I told him that our new tickets had to be next to them. Finally he asked are they 10 day passes. I said yes!!! He had found them. Whew!

He put my mom on the phone and I gave her the address to POP. It was close to 1 by this time, so my mom had to find a post office on a Saturday that was open past 1. She ended up driving to Hartford... about a 30 minute drive from our house. The tickets would soon be on their way!!!!!

I got off the phone and walked over to the luggage area. I asked about a package for me. The CM went into the back and came out 30 sec later. He had a package for us!!! He said 'I remember this package, I checked it in yesterday!' Then he asked if we would like it dropped off at our room. I said sure and walked towards Melody and Juliana.

I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my back, chest, neck, and head!!!!! I told Mel that our tickets were on the way and we could just use our 1 day tickets on Monday that we had to buy with our room package to get the free dining. Juliana was finally starting to get back to her normal self (she was still sleepy and out of it) and we started hula-hooping. It was the best thing we could have done. She perked right up!

I had to show her my skills!!!!

We decided that we should eat before going to the room since the only thing we ate since we were up was a snack on the plane. We walked back in and headed to Everything POP.

This was our second time staying on property. Our first trip we stayed at Coronado Springs (which we loved!) When we walked into the food court I almost had a heart-attack. It was nuts!! There was people everywhere! Lines for food, lines for the drinks at the cooler, lines to check out. It was insane!!! Melody took Juliana and went one direction I went another. Mel was already checked out when I got to the register. While I was in line, a guy in front of me was talking to the CM at the register. He was sad because he was leaving. I had to speak up and mention I just checked in! He was on the dining plan and his card wasn't going through. Finally it did and the CM said that over 1000 rooms were flipping over that day! I found where Melody and Juliana were seated. Then I started taking pictures of our food.

Tired Juliana.

Melody got a veggie calzone.

Juliana got mac & cheese.

I got the Turkey club on ciabatta and the tie-dyed cheesecake.

Melody was making fun of me for taking pictures of our food. I told her to get used to it. Every table was full and I didn't see anyone else taking pictures of their food. Could it be there was no other DISers in this entire food court? Melody paid OOP for her and Juliana's lunch. I didn't understand why but later in the week it will work out in our favor. Juliana ate all of her mac & cheese and I killed my sandwich. It was really big. I could of split it. The cheese cake was good too.

While we were cleaning up I was looking for another DISer, TarzansKat. I don't exactly know what she looks like, but I was figuring she would be wearing a tye-dyed shirt. Do you know how many people were wearing tye-dye shirts?????? I swear it must of been 1/2 of the food court! I wasn't going to make a fool of myself asking every other person if she was TK. Maybe she will spot me?

We finished up lunch and walked back to the car for our drive over to the 70's section to find our room!

Phew! I am so glad the tickets were found and on their way to you!! That would make my heart stop!

We've stayed at POP a few times and really love it. I think it's a great value resort; yes, the food court can get crowded but other than that, it's one of my favorite resorts on-property!

Can't wait to read more!

I just found your TR from onelilspark's and am now on board! I'm positive that your TR will be as good as the last one!

Wow, how many people have done the same thing as you and forgotten their tickets?? I'll bet it's more common than we think. I'm glad that your mom and FIL were able to get them sent to you!

Juliana looks as beautiful as ever! Her smile is so precious!

I love POP! Whenever we stay at a value, that is the only place to stay!

The WIDE AWAKE at 5 AM picture is priceless.

Reminds me of my boys at 4AM...of course they were sawing logs after 30 Minutes on the road...but pretty much bouncing at 4AM.

Forgot your Tickets. My Melodie would have taken my head of and threw it out the airplane.
