No desperate would have been if he had to buy medicine or groceries for his family and used the credit card to do so. It would have still be wrong but I could have maybe sympathized.

This is just flat out theft and greed.

To me - the crazy thing about this is that we've had reports of stuff stolen from rooms or cars and we always tend to assume/blame valet/mousekeeping/maintenance = lower level employees. This guy was supposedly a manager (albeit a dumb one) - but he was smart enough to charge just under the 1,500 limit we approve when we check in. I would think that managers at deluxe Disney hotels and DVC properties are paid pretty well.

I hope action is taken against the repair shop as well. I can't imagine a reputable business just taking someone's word that they have permission to use a credit card with someone else's name on it.
