There are two HP order status sites. The one that needs your order date and web order number, that site shows my status as Admin also.

The site that uses your login and password showed my ship date for the 25th.

Do you have a link to the second site? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Best Buy store inventiory question, if the website says "in store only" does that mean that it is available at that best buy for purchase at the store? If so than there are some somewhat near me and I might be going on a drive tomorrow with the kids.

It may be available at that store. But I wouldn't travel out of my way thinking that it would be there when I got there. If you are thinking about going to BBY, it would be better to call that store and pay for it over the phone (if they can do that). Also any of the Touchpads that are purchased at Best Buy after 8/20 cannot be returned to the store for any reason. They are final sale.

Very frustrated with Macmall. A rep took my order early yesterday morning (6:30 am), said they had several in stock, took my order, cc and everything.......only to call back at 10am and tell me that my order was cancelled. He stated that the reason was because my cc blocked the order and they no longer had availablity. So I called my cc, which has a zero balance, and they said the charges are pending just fine, there was no block. I then call back and a Macmall credit rep states that the order was cancelled due to insufficient stock, not my cc.

Why did the first guy tell me that it was my cc?

Between driving myself nuts checking the site for shipment/updates and then here (the Chinese children one policy comments ) and watching my account-I think I am done!

If the one I ordered shows up-GREAT! If not-atleast I know I tried.

well i just hit confirm order from asktp.com, lets hope its a legit site, i was gonna do my business debit but decided to use a cc just in case. and it said the order was processed, its comes out to estimated $104 with fees and ground shipping. Not feeling too good about it expecially that now my gmail says it may not have been sent from that gmail address. Hopefully the damage is not that bad on the cc ..lol.

Do you have an updated link for the log in site? I was looking for it earlier(the one that you log in to). Everytime I click in to use my login it takes me back to the same page that allows you to check your status and that is it. If you have it, that would be awesome

It only means it's not online. The only way to guarantee inventory is to check with the store.

Robinrs is correct. BB's link to check inventory showed stock at store near us. Dh quick drove there and they said they had just sold the last one 5 mins prior.

We called another store 1 hr away that showed inventory & they said they sold out 2 hrs prior and probably wouldn't get any more in.

Well, I got my tracking number and an email from Best Buy stating my touchpad has shipped Can't wait to get it!

Wished I had ordered an extra one in my moms name and had shipped to her!

I ordered from HP Small Business Site on Sunday morning. After giving up on Saturday night, I had no problem. I received first email from HP on Monday afternoon telling me of a second email. Just got home and check email and second email came. It list a shipping date of Friday and delivering date of Sept 1. Then check the bank account and charge went thru. But I still wont believe it until I have one in my possession.

Which line do you put your order # in .... I could never get my order to show up here - but each time on the other site (they took down) I could get it .... UUUGGHHHHH

I was the same way--could only get the other one to work before it disappeared. But, tried this one again and got it to work using the "Web Order Number" field. Hope it works for you!

I have no idea what's going on at this point. According to THIS I've ordered one. But if I put in the order number into the other site, it says it doesn't exist. Anyway I only ordered the one, so if it comes then that's great and if not...oh well. Better luck next time. I can go back to waiting for the iPhone 5 to release.

Hooray! The other link has been giving me trouble today (besides being gone half the time) My order shows up there, but if I try to click on it I get an error message that says 'Your request was unable to be processed at this time please try again later.' Eek. I will continue to stay hopefully that I might see one at some point.

You have to be VERY patient. I started trying like at 2pm today and finally made it like after 8pm!!! granted i had a few hours break in between were i wanst on the comp but it still took a VERY long time, you just have to hit conitnue and let it sit there till it decides it wants to proceed....
