For those of us that have booked and sent in their certificate, who have actually received their room assignments? We are getting the run around at DCL and before I throw the big one, I wanted to be sure of what I've seen here prior. i.e. you have a room assignment other than GTY.

Thanks in advance.

I received a room assignment about a week after I mailed in the coupon. This is according to the website. It went from "GTY" to "7070". However, I was informed at the time of booking that any room assignment can still be changed by DCL up until the day of departure.

I've had the same experience as happydays...but it took almost 2 weeks before the room # was posted. I know some people have sent their coupons in registered mail. I copied my coupon and took the chance of regular mail. I know, I was biting my nails until I finally saw a room # beside my name. I keep checking it, though, just in case it changes....hope not.....I like the location. :)

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. We called, booked and were given GTY as a stateroom assignment. After sending in the coupon and paying, we were assigned a stateroom in the category we expected (we had a 3 but they would only go as high as a 4 on the $99). There was never mention of it possibly changing and absolutely no hassles along the way (we did do it from the airport on our way home so it was early in the process).

Good Luck.

I booked our cruise on Jan.30, and for the next 2 weeks my room assignment showed as "GTY" on the website. On Feb.1, I sent the check for the full amount of the cruise, and our vouchers to DCL via the good ol' US Postal Service. The check cleared about 10 days later, and I called DCL to get our room numbers. I then checked the website, and lo and behold, my cabins were assigned. We were deck 6 AFT for the Jan. trip, and we are deck 5 AFT in Oct., and closer to the elevators. As 2 of our 4 kids will definitely be in the kids' clubs, I think the location suits us. However, if DCL decides to bump us up 1 cat. with connecting cabins, I would be very grateful:p

The $99/person is for a 3 Day cruise later this year. It was given to those who cruised on a 4 or 7 day this past January.

Hi Alan and Judy....it's Phyllis from your 1-5 cruise.

Go to DCL ressie web site..where you can make on line ressies...put in your confirmation # and your phone # and it should pop up. About 2 weeks after they posted our payment and I had received our confirmation letter in the mail...I checked the res site and there was our cabin #. The confirmation letter
we got in the mail...said gty on it. I had to go to the site to find
out our cabin #.

Good luck...
Phyllis
