..................

Did you have it blessed with holy water? We did with ours and our house (when I was growing up) sold right away after being on the market for months.

This makes me wonder how many homes have St. Joseph statues lurking below the ground! I wonder if our house has one from the previous owners? Not that I'm about to dig to find out ....

Good luck w/the sale!

Where do you get these statues? Our house has been on the market 8 days and only 1 person has looked at it! :guilty: I need all the help I can get as dh lost his job. :sad2:

My DSister's house was on the market for a while....I think over 8 months. She buried her St. Joseph and soon after her house sold. Of course, she also lowered her price at that time ;) ......but she did sell her house and got what she wanted. I would definetly try it, good luck!

I think you are supposed to dig him up and take him with you to your new home after the sale. I hope your sale goes smoothly.

Funny story - my niece borrowed the St. Joseph from my sister's nativity set & later forgot to dig him up! So at Christmastime, my sister's nativity features Mary as a single mom. :rotfl:

Told sis she should replace St. Joseph with a Spiderman action figure and see if anyone notices... ;)

My father's company transferred him to Florida in 1960. My parents old house in Massachusetts was on the market for several months with no nibbles and a leaky roof! I was a Victorian-era house back when Victorian houses were not considered cool, just old :sunny: . My mother and grandmother buried a St Joseph figure in the yard and my grandmother did a 7-day Novena, and the house sold during the Novena. :earsgirl:

Good luck with selling your house for the price you want!

That is a priceless story LOL

So, when it sells, who do you pay? How do you know the realtor actuall sold it, and not the statue LOL?
