Back for more help. We are in Bird in Hand, PA. We hit a lot of construction on way. We decided we are going to drive the more direct route to WDW. I put it in GPS (brand new to us using a GPS). At one point we are on I-85S toward I-295S/Emporia, then it says take exit 260B on right to I-4 towards Orlando and it says 662 mi. Does that sound good. I thought we would be on I-95 longer. Again, thanks for all your help. It's been terrific for us older folks.

I85south goes from I95 at Petersburg VA south of Richmond south west to Montgomery,Alabama. I cannot imagine it would be a route you would want to be on at all if you are driving to Florida.

The I95 is a good go, 70 mph and clear sailing most of the way. Once you got on it, I would stay all the way until the I4 exit near Daytona.

I would guess that from Bird-in-Hand to WDW, you would get yourself to I83 S to I695 W to I95 S around Baltimore. Then you can just stay on I95 S until Daytona Beach where you will then take I4 W.

Suggested deviations: I495 W in the DC area, I295 E around Richmond and SR417 (toll) in Sanford to bypass I4 in Orlando proper.

Not sure where I85 comes into play but that is not a recommended way for you to take (unless you stop in Durham, NC to pick me up)
