Anyone eat here lately? Any reviews, suggestions, etc.? We haven't had dinner here in years, I know for a while people were not happy with this place, but we are considering it due to Teppanyaki/Teppanedo is now officially not going to open before our reservation in September. Thanks all!

i love 9 dragons. i actually went there in a group of four where we could do the meal for four. that was lunch; i don't know if they offer it for dinner. but it was amazing food. and the portions were great. i've been there a number of times and have never had a single complaint.

We really enjoyed our lunch there in July. Great food, good service!

We always try to eat there. I will say that the portions have really shrunk in the past year or so. It used to be we would get the family dinner for two and an extra entree and spring roll and it was plenty for ourselves and two DDS. The portions came out on platters and a bowl of rice accompanied them. Last visit in May every entree was preplated with a scoop of rice on a dinner plate. Maybe ten pieces of sesame chicken per serving, a lot less than you used to get. We pay OOP so you can imagine our shock when youngest DD took one complete order for herself! Too funny. thank heavens for the French pastry shop for dessert!

I will have to second this. We also eat there often. One of my favorite dishes is their Ma Po Tofu which was served in a sizzling "iron" kettle. We went back in early July and it was served preplated in a dish that no longer promoted "family style" dining. It almost looked like a lunch sized combination plate. The food was still very good, but we sort of got turned off by the change that we skipped it this past weekend and opted for Cuban at Bongos.

My husband & I have been considering this a one of our CS options & despite the portion concerns I think this would probably suit us fine & as mentioned leave room for a yummy dessert in France later. Thanks for the review.

9 Dragons is TS, not CS. Our tab for family dinner for 2 an extra spring roll, extra entree and drinks was like $70 without tip, hardly CS prices. :) You are porbably thinking of the CS place outside.

Thanks for the reviews! I remembered it was very good, but I'm sad to hear about the portion sizes, then again we are on the dining plan and there is 5 of us, so 5 apps and 5 entrees should be more than enough. Oh and about that French Pastry Dessert, hmmm.....sounds yummy as long as I can accompany it with a glass of champagne :thumbsup2
