9 days 2 resorts FREE Dining Christmas Lights & a bouncing Tigger who stole my heart

Any pointers you can give on where to find the stations? :confused3

Usually you have to venture quite deep into the pavillion. Not always in the main gift shops. I remember Morrocco was way back in and to the right. Although Mexico was near the entrance where the carved animal art is. I had to ask in Canada. You can also get passports stamped and signed at the same place.

Loved the update! Walking around World Showcase is one of my favorite things to do in WDW! We always seem to be rushing to an ADR when we go around WS, so in March I am going to have my DD8 do KidCot Fun Stops if she wants---they look like fun!

I did it!!! Just got through 40 pages!!! Amazing what you can do when the kids are still asleep.

Thanks so much for all of the updates, we will be there in 2 weeks and 6 days............!

Looking forward to the OKW updates!

What a wonderful update!:lovestruc

I could seriously spend my entire vacation in Epcot, I love it so much. There is just so much to see and do- I never get tired of it.

Thanks for the Gran Fiesta pics-- I love that little ride.:goodvibes

Can't wait for the next update--- I've been dying to hear about your Le Cellier dinner.;)

Hope all is well with you---
we woke to snow this morning.

Mark said he ordered it special, just for me, on my day-- b/c he knows I LOVE it sooooo much.

Jo

Looks like a great time. I love the pic of the boys in front of the giant tree. I can't wait to try the Kid stops with my two.

Thanks! :goodvibes

I'm catching up!!
I have decided that our next trip will spend more time at WS so I can explore the shops, the pavillions and see more stuff. I was disappointed that I missed some things this trip that I had wanted to see. We spent too long doing Kim Possible missions - even though it was fun. So I understand about finding the Kidcot stops! They aren't real obvious.

I kind of steered the kids away from Kim Possible, I was afraid it would take up too much of our day. We all really enjoyed taking our time through WS for once!

Yes, I really expected the Kidcot Stops to be a little more obvious I guess. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. A few of them were very easy to find, but some were really hidden.

Love the new Epcot update and pix Shelly. The Christmas trees are huge there - were they real? - Sea

Thanks Sea.

I guess I didn't pay much attention to whether the trees were real or not. I just know they were very awesome! Probably too perfect to be real.

Not real. 65 feet tall. Didn't you watch the Behind the Magic special??? And you call yourself a Disney fan. I thought it was required viewing. ;) :happytv:
They showed how they store them in chunks. It was pretty cool despite the host being dorky.

Guess they aren't real!

I can't wait to spend some time in the WS - I hope we can find the kidcot stations - we've never done them before so hopefully we'll get to it this time. But if we do - we HAVE to do them all! Both of my boys would have a hard time leaving with an incomplete project! I'm hoping to do the Kim Possible thing again too. Zach loved it last time!

Any pointers you can give on where to find the stations? :confused3

We really had trouble finding a few of them. And some of the CM's in WS don't speak English very well. So that made it difficult too. Eventually DS10 learned to go up to the first CM he came across and ask them while pointing at his mask. That seemed to help! They knew just what he was talking about then.

It helped that we had already had 2 brief evenings in Epcot, it made WS feel more relaxed since we had already done a lot in Future World. I hope your DD likes doing the Kidcot Stops! :goodvibes

Glad you are enjoying Epcot! After all it is your park! :goodvibes

The LeCellier review will be coming soon. But I have to warn you - you might not like it. :scared:

We woke to A LOT of snow today. And we already had A LOT yesterday. :sad2:

Oh and one more thing --

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JO!! party::bday::cake: Hope you are having a great day!!

Happy Birthday JoBird!!! Enjoy your snow!

It's too dang cold to snow here! And probably will be for a week. That's okay, we had enough snow and slush/ice over Christmas. It won't go anywhere for months.

I can't wait to hear about your LC dinner Shelly!

OK, glad it wasn't just me. I thought I was losing my Mickey~I've tried to watch it twice, and the guy just annoys me for some reason!

Thanks Shelly for the Birthday shout out.:lovestruc It's been a cold Birthday for this warm blooded girl.:lmao:

I'm still looking forward to the rest of your report --- even if the Le Cellier dinner wasn't outstanding. I actually read on some other threads about less than stellar experiences. Which made me clutch my heart and gasp.:rotfl2:

MNdisneygirl-- thanks for the Bday wishes! I don't like snow--- we don't get along too well, I guess you'd say.:lmao: I could never live in MN! We lived in Rochester NY for three years and I thought to my soul I would become a human icicle before I left.:rolleyes1:lmao:

I just got through all 40+ pages in the past 24 hours. Looking forward to some more updates soon hopefully!!

We have a ton of snow here. But not enough to cancel school. So off the kids went this morning back to school!

LeCellier is coming up shortly!

Jo

Hope you were able to enjoy your day despite the snow!

I hope LeCellier isn't going down hill for good. When we were seated and I heard the people at the table next to us complaining about their food I thought surely it had to be them, not LeCellier's fault. But I quickly learned that it wasn't them. :sad2:

I did read online that the chef from LC had moved to CR to move that restaurant back up to where it was :confused3 That was last year before our trip. Not sure how accurate it was or how old the report was. I had also read recently some of the resort chefs had moved into Epcot? maybe they shuffle them around and bad results happen :confused3

Thursday November 12th continued ~

After we were done with our little snack at the Fife and Drum Tavern we were ready to continue the rest of our journey around World Showcase. Next up was Japan, Morocco, and France. We managed to find all the Kidcot Stops, eventually!

Next we were headed to the United Kingdom. Found the Kidcot Stop with no problem!

Right next to the Kidcot Stop in the UK were Winnie the Pooh and Tigger standing there in there own little meet & greet room with only 2 families in line to see them. When the kids were done at the Kidcot Stop we went over and got in line. By then we were next in line. So the kids did their meet & greet, got their pictures taken, etc.

As we were leaving I was giving the characters a little wave good-bye and Tigger bounced over and put his arm out for me to grab it. So I did! And then we bounced off outside the building together!! :rotfl: The kids were laughing so hard!! DH and the kids followed us out. I had the camera of course, but it suddenly dawned on DS10 that he had the other camera in his fanny pack. When I looked back I could see him digging it out. And he got it out just in time to take this shot before Tigger stopped, kissed my hand, and bounced back inside. :tigger:

What a very fun memory! The kids spent the rest of the day saying how DH was jealous that Tigger was trying to steal me away! :lmao:

Up Next: Canada, LeCellier, and Sandcastle Kids Club! :goodvibes

Oh how sweet!! Now we know the story behind the title!

I'm nervous for you at LC - it sounds not too great!! :(

I'm still here Shelley! I just don't Dis too much when I am not at work. Priorities you know.

I'm glad that the boys found all of the Kidcot stops. I know that some of them are tucked away in little corners and can be hard to locate.

Thank goodness your son remembered his camera otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see you and Tigger together.

I love love love that picture, it turned out so beautiful!

JoBird- happy birthday :cheer2:! I went back and read through all the posts and wanted to send wishes your way. :wizard:

Maybe that's what happened. . . I don't know. We've always had great experiences there before. So hopefully it was a fluke, but I don't know. I think we will be skipping it next time.

Thanks for the tips!

No problem! :goodvibes

Yep, Tigger and I were going to run away together!! :rotfl:

LC wasn't the best this time. Very disappointing to say the least. But that's okay, we had plenty of other great times on the trip that made up for it!

I'm a day behind, so I had 2 Epcot updates to read! I'm loving all the great pics again. :thumbsup2 WS is just about my favorite thing in all of WDW. The pictures of the boys with Pooh and Tigger are adorable! And your DS10 did an awesome photography job of capturing that special moment with you and Tigger. That one should be framed in your home!
