After a very long day and night in the MK we decided to sleep in today. No one even woke up until around 9am. We skipped breakfast again and headed out to MGM.

Starving we went straight back to Toy Story Pizza planet again. (I highly reccommend this place) After that we hung around Star Tours while DH rode it twice (no lines). We finally hit the Great Movie ride. (one of my favorites here.) DS really enjoyed it. We saw the Indiana Jones show. (I've seen this show tons of times and it still amazes me) WE met a few more characters and then headed back to RRC. I still say this is the most awesome roller coaster I've ever ridden.

There is a store right off Hollywood blvd. It's on the left if you are walking toward where RRC and TOT are. My husband and I call it "the villian store" due to the decorations..plus it has a lot of villian stuff inside. There is a little sweet shop there. OMG AMAZING caramel apples. I would put them right up there with the ones in MK... (I still think MK has the best fudge and caramel/candy apples hands down)..but this place gives them a run for their money. You gotta try one. So we had a short "make up day" at MGM to hit some rides and do some (which turned into a lot) of shopping.

We had PS at 4pm at HOllywood and vine for our Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. I was excited about this place because as we were standing in line at Al's Toy barn to meet the TS gang (again) I heard a CM saying how it was THE best place to eat in MGM. I was thinking WOW this is from a CM who's here all the time!!! *YIPPEE* Yeah..well..not true at all. My husband was impressed....(or said he was)but I wasn't . Our Waitress..while she wasn't as rude as Bob at Hoop-dee-doo...she wasn't the friendliest person on the planet. She didn't refill our drinks (DH and I both got water and a mixed drink...Water ran dry and she NEVER offered to fill it up) She did get a "point" back when DS made a mess with some chocolate moose and she brought out a warm wash cloth to clean him up with. I thought that was nice. The food was just not very good. The steak smelled Wonderful...but the closer to the center that it was cut the more you saw that it was a VERY rare steak..and I had asked for a well done piece. The Chicken was tough...the Salmon was the worst I ever had...even the veggies were gross. I was very disappointed.

We finished dinner and got our passes to fantasmic a little after 5pm. Fantasmic didn't start until 7:30 and our waitress said (after multiple times of me asking) as long as we were there by 6:55 we would be fine. So we hung out until around 6:30 and headed over to Oscars to slip in the "back door" to Fantasmic. This was really cool. It's a pretty long walk though to the arena...but we didn't mind. We finally got to where they were seating us. I had been very nervous about the seating b/c I had heard that the seats from the dinner pkgs were not good. Plus I had the added pressure of the only other time I've seen Fantasmic I was front and center with a perfect view. I was suprised though...the seats were very good seats. (You have to get there by 7pm though..or you do end up in the far end seats) We were not in the center...but we were pretty close. We got DS a hotdog (he didn't eat anything at H&V)and this cool fantasmic cup that had flashing lights. FINALLY it was time for the show...WOW!!! THis show brings me to tears everytime I see it because it is soooooo beautiful and amazing. If you haven't seen it...YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!!! It's truly breath taking. Once the show was over we stuck around the shops that were still open to let the crowd thin out. (also reccommended)

We do plan on doing the Fantasmic dinner pkg when we go back...just not at H&V. We will chose another one of the participating resturants. We will do it again because it was SO nice to NOT have to wait in line for fantasmic. We did what we wanted to until we felt like going in and we didn't have to wait in any line and we had good seats waiting for us. So I DO reccommed the pkg..but NOT Hollywood and vine.

October 30th...Halloween eve...back to MK...to come soon also included then Halloween night.

and havne't had any problems yet........Hoe that we are okey in December and april......the grandkids want to do that restaurant again......thanks so much for the warning though.......Fantasmic is my most favorite show of all.......thanks again
