Ok..so let's pick up where we left off......Thurs Oct 28th

We got to the LTT (we had 4:30 PS) about 5 mins late..no big deal. We were greeted at the door by a CM with cool "scary" makeup who told us to wait inside by the fire place. DS was not in costume at this time but his horse was (he has a Build a bear horse he calls 'tang that was also dressed as buzz lightyear) DH and I were not going to be in costume. Lots of people were already there and many (including adults) were dressed up. We were seated within about 5 mins. The CMs there were all wonderful. Our watier immediately got our drink order and brought out rolls and salad. The salad left a little to be desired for me. I think because it was a Strawberry Vinegarette Dressing. I wasn't to fond of it...but that is were that ended. The rest of the food was delicious. We had a plate of "Meats" (turkey, ham, roast beef) with some cornbread dressing. *YUMMY*, Mashed potatoes and Gravy, Mac and cheese, and glazed carrots. It was wonderful. DS didn't eat at bite...but it didn't suprise me. The character interaction was great. Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale were all there in there halloween costumes. DS loved every minute of it. We had apple cobbler for dessert. *YUMMY*

After dinner we noticed that it had started raining a little bit. (the first and only time during our vacation.) So we headed to a big covered area close to the LTT and hung out there for a while. I was thankful for the rain because I thought it would cool things off. (I was wrong of course) DS became "Buzz lightyear" and the rain stopped. It was now stickier and hotter than ever.

They hearded us all to tommorrow land about 6pm. THAT was a nightmare. You could barely move there were so many people. We decided to go ahead and get in line for our family photo. (glad we did...we would have forgotten other wise I'm sure) After the family photo wait it was almost time for the rest of the park to open. We tried to trick or treat in tomorrow land..but it was immpossible. The lines were just too long. We did get DS picture made with Buzz at the costume party though. We basically spent our time at the party in tomorrow land and in front of the castle. I wanted to see the fireworks and the parade. There were SOOOOOO many people there you could barely move. We watched the fireworks. (DS ate a Casey's HD while watching them) THey were good..but not as good as wishes. The parade was not very good at all. I was very disappointed that I had waited so long. DS was out of his buzz costume (due to the heat) and in his pirate pjs. After the parade (it was the 2nd parade) we decided to hang around and see if the crowd thinned out a little so we could do the other things we wanted. Didn't work. It felt like NO one left. Trick or treat lines were still full, ride lines were full So we just headed to the bus stop since it was now around 11pm. I was disappointed. I had been SO excited about this event. We did have a good time...but felt like we missed sooooo much. I do plan on doing this party again..but next time I won't wait around for the parade or the fire works...that was probably the best time to see things and ride the rides. The decorations around MK were amazing though. Especially around main street!!! *WOW*

Day #6-Back to MGM for fantasmic to follow.

we did only a Christmas Party and it was crowded too......thanks for the menu at LTT too....sounds scrumptious
