We would like to attempt to get on the Safari and Everest (single rider is OK with us for EE) prior to our 10:30 Tusker House ADR on a 9 am opening day. Doable or not?? I can move Tusker to 10:50, which I originally had, however with them switching over to lunch around 11, I don't really want to and changed it to 10:30. (We love breakfast buffets!) We will have another morning during EMH at AK as well so this is a "bonus" morning to fit in a couple things. It's just me and DD 16 and we can move quickly through the park on foot. This is during President's week also.

I honestly think if you enter the park at RD, head to EE first, ride it, then head over to Safari, you won't have any issue at all walking up to Tusker by 10:30am.

We are quick walkers as well and can get around AK in no time at all.

Maybe do Everest first, so when you finish the safari you will be right by Tusker House? We got to AK yesterday morning at 8:30, they started letting everyone in at about 8:50 and we headed straight to Everest. We were in line for our 2nd EE ride at 9:04. All in all we rode it 4 times before 9:40. Earlier in the week we had a 8:10 Tusker House ADR and finished about 9:20 and waited about 10 minutes for the Safari. (This was an EMH morning, not sure how that affected the times). We were done with the Safari well before 10, because we debated trying to make the 10am Festival of the Lion King show.

totally do-able IMO - I however would do the safari first since it's line will build faster. And then go over to EE and ride it. I know it means more walking but I have seen how many people head right to the safari so the line could be significant if you ride EE first

Thanks all! OK, so we will keep the ADR and make a plan for ride priorities. Will probably check the "wait times" for EE on our way in if it's posted yet or on the MDE and maybe hit that first then the Safari. Honestly, while we enjoy seeing the animals, we are ALL about the thrill rides so we would rather ride EE (maybe even multiple times) if there is no wait and take a chance that we can't get on the Safari in time to make our ADR.

Unless you plan on hopping to another park that day and using FP's later, you could always schedule your first FP for Safari at around 9:50 or so and then be able to walk right over to Tusker House.

That would probably give you several opportunities to ride EE standby from 9:00-9:40

I agree with this. I would go straight to EE, ride as many times as you want and schedule a Safari FP+ around 9:30/9:45 am. As long as you are on the safari truck at about 10 am, you shouldn't have a problem making the ADR at 10:30 am

We are using our FP+ later in the day at DHS, so we want to utilize the SB ride time the best we can at RD before our ADR.
