just a brief summary of our free dining restaurants..
Because we made our arrangements to go to Disney the last week of free dining being offered...we were fortunate enough to get restaurants to eat at.

9/8 -- arrived at almost two to our resort (All Star Movies) and ate a snack before going to the studios for our dinner..
Hollywood and Vine --after reading all the bad reviews, we went in thinking that...but the food was fresh and hot and really good. We had the roast beef and salmon on both of our plates with the pasta with seafood... IT was very good and impressed here. Our waitress was a former Mainer and my hubby had his University of Maine t shirt on...then another lady that was dining with her family came over and said that they were former Mainers too...so small world in Hollywood and Vine..two buffets came to 57.49

9/9--we got up and ate our breakfast at the food court. We were practically alone in there and I asked the cashiers what we were allowed for breakfast. She told us...any entree and a juice plus anything in the back coolers or pastries and bagel areas..
So I had the breakfast platter ( they have added a mini mickey waffle or two french toast sticks with real maple syrup)..Hubby had the omelet with potatoes...we both had juice and this particular day we had a bottle of water to take with us.. every morning the totals came to 22.00..
For a snack at one pm we had a salad and grapes to hold us over as our reservation was for 4:30
Dinner was at Crystal Palace..
The buffet as usual was fantastic...This place is always tops in their foods, keeping it fresh and hot.....of course this place was full and people waiting outside so that wasnt an issue...Our favorite part of this was the salmon and roast beef that was so tender and delicious....the desserts were great too...total for two buffets ...70.27

9/10-- hubby's birthday
we had breakfast again in the food court...I didnt really want to have the waffle or the french toast sticks or the bisquit in the platter so I asked to have extra eggs and this was no problem......for my two sides I got OJ and two slices of toast......hubby got the platter with a bagel and OJ ...around 22.00 again...

Lunch was in DTD and we went to Earl of Sandwich.......Our favorite place in that area....I had the full Montagu and Hubby had the Original......we were allowed a fountain soda that is refillable and also any dessert under 3.95...so we had the chocolate pudding with whipped cream and a raspberry on top....this was delicious and the cost was 21.99..

dinner for hubbies birthday was Le Cellier.......it was later then we usually eat but because we had that lunch at DTD it worked out well..
We had the special that they have ...a choice of three appetizers, a choice of the main entree, and a dessert.....we had the cheddar cheese soup, Prime rib, and hubby had the creme brulee and I had the sugar free sorbet with a chocolate sugar free moose.......delicious and we thought this was wonderful and we were glad to have our soup and pretzel bread..total of the two meals was 85.00..

9/11..breakfast in the food court was our usual platters with toast and bagels on the side and two oj's....by the way we had our refillable mugs for our coffees. total again 22.00

we didnt have any snacks that day as our reservations for dinner was 4 pm...hey when you book late we were happy with what we got for reservations and times.
Prime time was our dinner...
We both had a milk shake that was HUGE ...we both ordered the fried chicken ..I had the collard greens and hubby had corn...for dessert we both had a GIGANTIC hot fudge sundae.........now that was the best part of our dinner.....I was in heaven.... total cost was 53.19..

9/12...morning same as previous and cost was 22.00...

We were washed out at Studios so we came back to hotel and got a few bags of doritos and our refillable mugs and sat it out.

Dinner at Tutto Italia....NOW this was at 5:05 pm and this place was almost full already.......They bring you a plate full of different types of breads and bread sticks and flat breads and a dish of oil....another platter has different olives and mushrooms with a hot pepper and something else......??? cant remember everything......delicious start to our meal..
We both ordered the beef entree that was delicious....it melted in our mouths and was fantastic flavor ........it had greens and also potatoes...The service at this restaurant was by far the best we have ever had EVER in Disney....For dessert we both had the sugar free raspberry sorbet that was delicious...total for this restaurant was 100.11......We would definitely go back to his restaurant even with out free dining..

9/13...our last full day .....had the same breakfast for both of us...22.00

dinner was an early reservation in AK at TuskerHouse.....it was for quarter of four so no snack or lunch today.

The restaurant was cute and the buffet was spread out all over this huge place.......I will admit that I was not overly fond of the food here but it was only because I didnt care for the type of seasonings and choices......but I am sure that others enjoy it here.....just a matter of taste for me.....total for both of us was 43.78
Because neither of us ate alot at this restaurant we both had a snack at the food court..
I had a hot fudge sundae and hubby had a strawberry sundae.....total was 8.98..

9/14 ...breakfast and it was still dark out....because I dont like a full stomach on the plane .....I had a few pieces of toast and an OJ with our coffee.....hubby had a bagel with cream cheese and juice...

we had a great time in Disney ....Our totals for our free dining came up around 600 ...

sorry about not taking photos......but hubby would of thought I was totally off my rocker if I had done this.......he knows I do Disney ...but.........

our reservations for our hotel and dining plan came at 45 days out.....so I am sure some of you are wondering how we got le Cellier on such a short notice.....well at first we had San Angel Inn on that day and my dear hubby kept checking the on line list and VOILA .....one day there it was....he yelled from his computer for me to get on mine and I called the Disney Dining number to make sure we got it and we did.....then I got rid of Mexico......we were happy to have this on his Birthday ....

SO everyone keep trying if you dont succeed in getting your restaurants of choice.......make some even if they arent your favorites or your top choices.

You arrived there the day we left. :)

Sounds like you enjoyed your FD experience! Glad to hear it. :)

thanks for posting your meals. I'm so glad you guys had wonderful meals and get me excited for our December trip

Thanks for the reviews and for the encouragement for the online ADRS. I have been trying and trying to get Crystal Palace with no success. Our trip is in 6 days so I'll keep on trying. Got Tutto Italia, Le Cellier and Teppan Edo with no problem. Still trying for Crystal palace and Ohana. :goodvibes
