Have I emailed you the pics of Bethan that I took at their *talent show*? I think that was when you and Helen were on a Bridge tour or ??

If you need my e-mail address let me know.

Many thanks

I am sorry that none of your family is around -- I come from a large family (I'm one of 4, my dad is one of 9 & my mom is one of 6) so, there is always plenty of family -- that is NOT always a good thing. :rotfl: My moms family is not close but, my dads family is very close. I have traveled all over the US to just visit (and go to weddings & funerals) with Aunts, Uncles & cousins on my dads' side.

My mother died twenty years ago next month, my sister died twenty years ago this June, and my father died fifteen years ago next month. I became an expert at arranging funerals so much so, that when my aunty died five years ago I had everything done at the Funeral Directors within 20 minutes of her death - honestly !!

My mother was one of six who are all dead and my father was one of five with only three alive. Of these I have seen one uncle in twelve years.

I only wish that my parents could have seen my children but it obviously wasn't to be, although when my father died he knew that Helen was pregnant with Alex.

My Maternal Grandmother died when she was 47 or 49 -- I was 2. :teeth: It was a sudden death (blood clot), we lived in a different state. I think htat is why my mom's family isn't close. Most of the kids still lived at home - they were ages 9 - 17 when she died. My grandfather left them on their own -- he was a truck driver and didn't let them not having a mother stop him from living his life. :sad2:

Jon;s family lives FOREVER!!!! They are usually in their 90's when they die. And they have all their wits about them until the end. It's hard to kill mean.

I'm sure your family would be very proud of your kids!!! They are GREAT!!!

Jane McAsh is coming up the weekend of the 2nd -- she has family that live within a couple of miles of my house -- and we are going to get a chance to visit! YEA!!!!!

Whenever any of you are near here I would LOVE to visit with you! :thumbsup2

I am so excited I have to tell someone!!!

I got a Nintendo Wii today!!!!!!!!!!!WAHOOOOO!!!!! I had to stand in line for 11 hours but I got one. It's not for me but I will get to play it!!!:cool1:

Congratulations!!!!!

When the adrenaline wears out you will be one tired girl!!!! ;)

Michael, Samantha and I all worked for vendors at the Peddler show this past weekend. It was fun BUT, exhasting! LOL! That would be a hard way to make a living - doing shows nearly every weekend.

Anybody working *Black Friday*. Katherine is working form 5am - 2pm. Even though their store isn't the type to have people shopping at 5am!!! LOL! And she is closing the night before T-day so, she won't get off work until 10pm...

We are all going over to her future In-Laws on Thursday. Including my parents, brothers, etc....

It should be fun!

O.K., I give up - what is "Black Friday" ??????

David

The day after Thanksgiving. It is supposedly the busiest shopping day of the year. ALOT of stores run specials from 5 -6 Am, etc... throughout the morning. The ads are usually in the newspaper on Thanksgiving (there are websites where people list the ads early) so that people can *plan* their morning shopping run.

Personally I don't go out that day. I try to do all of my shopping online. :teeth:

Thanks :thumbsup2

Sounds a little like our Boxing Day (26-December) when sales traditionally start here in the UK. I avoid going out as well - generally too cold!!

By the way it's been around 4 degrees Celcius today and it's awful - how we long for the Caribbean again :sad1: :sad1:

 That's cold!

The high today was 67 and for the rest of the week it is supposed to be in the mid 70's.....maybe close to 80 on Thanksgiving day..... It has been very sunny.

I like moderate weather! LOL! Not too hot and not too cold.... :thumbsup2

Stepanine, I checked my supply. I have dupes for the 7th, 10th and 15th...sorry:guilty: . I can send you color photo copies for the 16th and 17th, if you want. Let me know.

Does anyone have any extras????

I KNOW I had at least one for everyday but, now I can't find a couple of them. :sad2: I am missing Sept 16 & 17th.

Thanks!

It sounds like you have a FULL plate! And many great opportunities! BTW -- driving delivery IS fun! 25yrs ago I drove delivery for a florist and I thought it was fun! :teeth:

I will be helping the driver deliver packages...no driving. I did a floral delivery a number of years ago...you're right it was great fun. I did it for Valentine's Day, so all the people were so happy to get the flowers. I loved seeing their reactions.

This position with UPS is only for three weeks, but it should be fun and bring in some extra Christmas money!

Hi everyone,

I have been MIA so long it will take me a while to catch up, but I just wanted to wish you all a

:tink:Happy Thanksgiving

This year we are especially thankful that we were able to cruise with Disney, and to be able to meet up
with so many wonderful people. Thanks for making our cruise so special

Sorry for the multiple post, but I wanted to make this one special....

At this time of year, I always take time to reflect on our blessing and why we are thankful. This year our lives have taken many changes. I'm no longer with A-B and the funds are not like they were in years past, but we are happy. I'm no longer putting work before family. When I'm home, I'm REALLY home...not just working from home. I really appreciate having that time with them. David mentioned putting up Christmas decorations, we have ours up already. Although they are not turned on until the day after Thanksgiving, we did it together on one of the warm days a couple of weeks ago. Last year I was working so much, they didn't go up until about the 15th of December and Clayton put the tree up alone (he got tired of waiting for me to have time). We have three birthdays in Dec., before Christmas. I ALWAYS have my lights up before the 3rd, but not last year. I knew our lives were out of control. Now I feel like I have my life back! I'm still working on some small PR projects, so we are doing OK.

I am also thankful for my new DIS friends. I feel so close to you guys and I'm blessed for having met you all. We shared a magical trip and now I think we have a magical friendship. I'm glad we are staying in touch. Jane and Stephanie enjoy your visit together. I hope to see some of my DIS friends soon.

What are you thankful for this year?

Have a safe, wonderful Thanksgiving!

I can so understand how you and your boys feel about you being home and available!
One of the things I have been very thankful for (in the last few years) is that Jon travels SO much less and is home so much now!!! If I ever need him during the day he can be home in a matter of minutes!
Which brings me to Claire's accident this past March. Everyone in this house is thankful that once again(!) Claire is alright and that Jon was home in less then 10min to take her to the Hospital.

Thank you! Jane and I are going to hit at least one of the Stamping Stores near me and maybe a Scrapbook store ;)

Knowing how important Thanksgiving Day is to you all in the States, have a good and restful day from us in the UK!!

Best wishes

David and family.
