Tell Katherine he really looks cute. :teeth: They make a very charming couple. :lovestruc It is almost like seeing the family in person. Where is Michael? Tell everyone hi from me. I did not realize how much Samantha looks like Katherine. Take that as a compliment Samantha. :thumbsup2

Amy, I know I can't believe where time goes. :confused3

I started making little witch hat decorations last week. DH took one down to work. The next thing I know is he took orders so there I was making witch hats. I am starting my 2008 cruise fund. I already have 2007 WDW money. Now all I need is to decide when and what property?

I'll tell her! :) Michael stayed home Sunday since he went with us the Saturday before -- unfortunatly it was raining off and on that day so I didn't get any pics. :guilty:
We get all the kids (no matter the age) and their *significant others* Six Flag Season passes for Christmas so, that we can do something *fun* together! :thumbsup2

Have John put a pic up of the decorations! I LOVE that you are starting your *2008 cruise fund*!!!!
Which property in 2007.........Which ones haven't you stayed at??? On site we've only stayed at GF. Jon REALLY likes staying on the monorail.
I've heard great things about Port Orleans. A good friend of mine is staying POR in November -- it is their first trip!!!! :teeth: They are taking their 2 youngest - 11girl & 9girl. We (Samantha, Elvis & I) are working on a list of each park and our favorite things to do for them. ;)
I want to try all the resorts!!!! :)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes, your daddy did tell you that -- 4 of the 5 kids look like Jon BUT, Samantha is the only one that got his skin tone (although the rest of them aren't quite as white as me ;) ), she also has really nice hair -- Katherine & Claire both have yucky har.
My mom can't believe that Jon & I (who both have thick, NICE hair had two girls with such fine, thin hair).

One Halloween Party down! LOL! Elvis & Claire had a great time last night at the kid's halloween Party at the K of C Hall.

Elvis was a little disappointed that he didn't win this year for best costume -- last year he did with an off the rack Peter Pan costume that fit him PERFECT! It actually looked custom made it fit so perfect! LOL!

He wore a Pirate costume (one that I had made originally to match ours but, he choose not to wear it on the ship). Claire wore one of her many costumes (this one was a fairy). On the actually Halloween she will be Cinderella -- she is always Cinderella even if she has had on a different costume all day.... When it comes time to leave the house she freaks out until you put a Cinderella costume on her! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Luckily we have quite a large amount of costumes to choose from at our house. :teeth:

Photobucket is obviously having problems since on he photobucket website the oics are right side up!!

Too cute!!

Ethan and Christopher are changing thier minds more times than the rest of us can keep up.

Amber is going as a dead bride.

See if you can guess what Taylor is going as? White wedding dress and running shoes! :rotfl:

A few years ago Michael wore a stuffed white tiger attached to his neck and we mixed corn syrup with food coloring for the blood........ :teeth:

We are a sick, sick family!!!

LOL sounds like your Michael and my brother Michael could be one in the same.

My Micheal always goes for the creepy, bloody, scary stuff. One year he cut the back of his pants legs out so he could make himself look one legged. Had "blood" running down the pants leg. He used a crutch to get around. He had this horrible mask and a chain saw. NONE of the kids would have anything to do with him. :rotfl:

That sounds exactly like something our son would do! LOL!

Hi all !!

Just back from London for the day !

We went to see "Wicked" that opened a few weeks ago and it was brilliant.
At the moment they have Idiana Menzel who opened the show in Broadway - what a voice :worship:

After the show we met Idina (Elphaba), Helen Dallimore (Glinda), Adam Garcia (Fiyero), James Gillan (Boq), Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), and Martin Ball (Doctor Dillamond). They were all very nice and spent time talking to Bethan (she would not have allowed them any option anyway). I also got the two leads to sign the souvenir brouchure as well.

Steph - Alex can see why Sam loves the show. :)

Only problem is that the whole family want to go back and see it again before Christmas. I don't know how much tickets are in Broadway but decent seats in the West End cost around £55.00 ($110.00).

Reading the above posts it seems that you are all getting ready for Halloween. It's not as big over here but it's on its way! I'm finishing work early on Tuesday (3:00pm) so I can get home to decorate the front of the house and put on the scary music (Alex singing :joker: ) etc. Bethan is trying to get out of her ballet class so she can go out early but she'll have to wait.

I'm looking at other threads and watching the speculation where DCL will go in 2008 - very interesting.

Speak to you soon

David

My dd is now incredibly jealous! She turned to me and said *She also played Maureen in RENT!* ;)

I have no idea what tickets cost in NYC but, tickets for shows cost between $45 (bad seats) - $80 a ticket here (and we are less then NYC prices on everything! LOL!)
Wicked is coming, again, to our area in April.

Too funny about Bethan trying to get out of Ballet. Last year Halloween was on a night that Samantha had Ballet -- she did Ballet. This year it lands on a night that she normally has Art. She was going to stay home and dress up but, Art was canceled for that night! :yay:

I can't wait to hear where they may go for 2008!

Right now I need to make a decision soon on an Adventure By Disney trip.... Until Dec 1st they are offering a really good discount on bookings. I'm trying to talk Samantha into going on one of the Europe trips instead of NYC for her b-day. But, she really wants NYC --- I've never been and would not look forward to going without someone that is familar with the city & Jon would be staying home with the younger children. Jon is familar with the Manhatten area since he used to go there quite a bit before they moved the hatband company to LI....
decisions...decisions.....

Carlin went to one Halloween party last night...as a pirate: , of course! He must have had quite a time...didn't get home till about 1 a.m.:furious: . He was only next door at his soccer coach's house. The coach's son is his best friend and I really thought he would just spend the night, but he came home about 1.
Clayton was out with friends for the evening too, so I had some "me" time:cool1: --which doesn't happen that often.

I took Clayton to NYC for spring break in '01. Just the two of us...we had a blast. I'm so glad I did it...we have some amazing video shot with the twin towers in the background from Battery Park waiting for the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. It is still very eerie to watch and hear us commenting on the towers in the skyline. We love NYC...we want to go back again soon.
Stephanie, I would be happy to act as tour guide for you and Samantha!

We went back with Carlin in '03 when we did our New England vacation. We were there just a week before the blackout. The trip started in D.C.for a few days, flew to NYC and then drove to Long Island, took the ferry to Mystic, CT, drove to Providence, RI, then to Bar Harbor, ME and took the catamaran ferry to Nova Scotia. We rounded off the trip by driving to Rockland, ME for the Maine Lobster Festival. We spent a total of 10 days, most of it driving in the car, taking in a bit of New England. Of all the trips we've taken, I treasure this one the most.

Now that trip sounds like fun! It sounds like some of the trips we've done in the SouthWest portion of the US (we've taken a couple of 3 wk & a few 2wk trips through New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona & a couple of times Utah & California).

We've never been to the Northeast or East coast -- Jon has since they have stores all over the place but, the kids and I haven't. I told Jon that I would really like to take Samantha & Elvis on the Aventures By Disney Adventure Mid-Atlantic trip.

The main DCL board has a thread about the Pirate Party (complaints -- *it's too late*, etc..) and I thought I would post a couple of pics. The reason the pics are at a wierd angle is because of the rain I had to stay under the covering at the side and ZOOM in trying to avoid anything between me and my family! LOL!
I am posting a pic of my 23dd & 2 of the Disers (I won't name them and if they want me to remove the pic PM me and i will!) I had a couple of good pics that included the dd of another Diser but, I didn't want to post pics of other poeple's kids without their permission! LOL!

Hi everyone! I am so sorry I haven't been around... crazy here! But a good crazy :goodvibes I know somewhere on here had info on the picture swap- can anyone direct me where?

Those Halloween pictures are just precious! Steph- your family is gorgeous! :)
I live on Long Island Steph! We head into NYC a few times a year- last weekend we took the girls to see Beauty and the beast on Broadway and dinner in Planet Hollywood, this weekend Mike & I are heading in to see Spamalot. We are also trecking in December for the holiday show with the Rockettes in Radio City (and we have reservation to have lunch in American Girl Place)& then to see Annie with the girls after Christemas, during the girls' holiday break from school. Let me know when you are heading up Steph!

Well... we do have some news in our house... looks like we have a little "souvenier" from our 10 nights on the Wonder! :lovestruc Our newest family is due in June!

Steph, you know your dream? I just might do it voluntarily!! :rotfl2: My grandmother has decided to join my mother and I on our cruise. 77 years old, never flown, never even been inside an airport, and has never done any big time traveling.

Great pictures of the kids!

I just now got my cruise pictures developed. CVS is running a special right now. If you take your pictures to them on a cd, they will develop them for .17 a piece. I got over 300 pictures for under $60.

Oh wow! :cheer2: Congrats on the "souvenier"!! :cheer2:

I wish I had thought last night and took a picture of Sally in her Halloween outfit. :rotfl: She went as half man, half women. Her sister made her an outfit where the shirt was half a mans shirt and half a woments shirt. The pants where also half man and half women. She had a half beard and her hair was slicked back, the other part of her was done up with make-up like a women and her hair was lose with a ribbon in it. It was so funny!

Amy, with so many new experiences for your grandmother, be sure to show her how to get onto a discussion board and if she plays her cards right, she might be able to land a whole bunch of FREE UNDIES !!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:  :cool1: :cool1:

What a great deal at CVS..... I had already had my cruise photos developed BUT, about 50 of them came out too dark. :sad2: On the computer you can see them just fine (things like the pirate pics) but, when they printed them they are solid black.

What a shame you didn't get a pic of Sally!!!!
