OOOPPPSSS!!!! I was probably sitting next to Samantha (whle she was talking to Carlin) when I wrote *Carlin*! LOL!!! Of course my children will tell you that I very rarely get their names correct.

That is GREAT Steph! Our schedules are so nuts here- though fall trips are great there (we went 2 years ago for the Halloween party)- try to sneak in a Halloween Party as well so you can wear tjhose great family pirate costumes too!

We did 4 days WDW/ 3 day Wonder last October and I just loved the weather!!! Which is why I am considering WDW....

Elvis (8ds) is trying to convince me that we need to stay home and just do stuff here -- there is an activity on Fridays that he doesn't want to miss.
We'll see.... I still have until the weekend to amke up my mind. We do have Six Flag season passes that don't get any use in the summer.....

What's wrong with kids these days?!? Not wanting to miss school to go to WDW? Bryan did that to us last December - DH had a conference in Anaheim at the beginning of December, and Bryan said he did not want to go because he would have to miss a couple days of school, plus a weekend of doing homework, and did not want to do that so close before Christmas break - so we went to Disneyland without him!

I don't think he really thought we'd leave without him. But Grandma stepped in to watch him. Carlin and I had a blast...even did a couple of days at WDW before the cruise.

That is how Pirana feels. She would do all of her work ahead of time and give up any of her activities to do Disney!!! She would even miss at least one day of work! (she has 2 jobs -- 1. 2 mornings a week a helper at a Montessori Preschool 2. One afternoon a week - and sometimes Saturday workshops -at an Art school assisting with a class)

Well I have good and bad news. I will start with the good news first; My SO and I will probably be going to DisneyLand for a quick weekend trip in November. I haven't been there in over 15 years and he has never been. He won a 2 night stay at a Best Western Hotel (or something like that) threw work, I have a $230 credit on American Airlines, and my friend's sister works at guest services for DL so she can get us in for free!!! All it would cost us is food and 1 rt plane ticket for Chris!! I am excited.

My bad bews is my pictures at Walgreens. I went last friday to get them onto a CD from my memory card on my digital camera only to find out that they did it incorrectly. I called every day and stopped in the store every day to make sure that they would not delete my images that were on their computer, (that for whatever reason they could not get burned on a CD). I did this because unfortunately my trusting self trusted that Walgreens actually put all the pictures on the CD the first time I went there, well guess what they didn't. Called yesterday to find out they were fixing the computer and that my CD would be burned as soon as they were done and they would call me (great, yay...finally get my pictures after almost a week.) No call, went to dinner.....no call, we went to the store to see what was up only to find out they deleted all of the images. The girl that was working there picked up a piece of paper that was on the computer and written on it was, "DO NOT DELETE VAN HORN'S IMAGES, has been deleted off memory card." The manager's response was, "so what do I owe you money or something?" No you idiot I paid for 8 CD's and have 0....I don't want my money back, I want the pictures. I hate hate hate Walgreens now. So now I am hoping that the Disney Dudettes that we cruised with will have some of the pictures. Some of them I know they won't have, but maybe they will have 1 or 2. I am so sad. I went looking for a computer last night and found an HP that I want. I am hoping it will go on sale, if it does not go on sale by Christmas than I am buying it. That is Chris and my Christmas present to each other!!!

Oh, that is horrible news!!! I'm so sorry!! I'll give some details in the next post about swapping, and would be happy to share any pics that I have with you that you would like.

FINALLY!!

I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. But I haven't disappeared forever! I just got back from Jamaica and I'm trying to dig myself out of the hole here with cleaning, laundry (again ) and organizing kids!!!

I have opened an account with Xdrive.com through America Online with 5gb of memory to store pictures and video. I need my dhs help to get it all set up and will upload my pics to it tonight. What I need from anyone interested is your email addy so that I can invite you to the site, and once there you can save the invitation somewhere so that you can get into the site whenever you want.

When you upload your photos/video to the site, use your disboard screenname so that we know who's pics we are viewing, and each family will have their own file to list.

Once on the site, you can copy, save, print, and view anyone's photos at your leisure. Simply click on the file you want to look at, and relive the memories of our wonderful cruise!!!

You will need an AOL account to add photos in xdrive, but it is very easy to sign up, and AOL is now FREE so it will not cost you anything!!!!!

If you are not computer literate like me you can send your picture cd to my home and I will have my dh upload it and then mail your disk back to you. You will still need to go through xdrive to view, print, etc photos/video.

I hope it's clear as mud~
Please pm me with your email addy, and I'll start responding with invitations to view and upload your photos so that we can share.

I am so sorry about the loss of pictures. We have a CD Burner just because DH does not trust anyone with the orginal. We are planning to send a disk to karen (nutzaboutdisneyland] so we can all share.

Karen we apprectiate all you are doing. Maybe my Dh can do it but no guarantees. Do we first go to aol address to get our own e-mail aol address? Is this the way we can access the pictures. How funny, my SO and I will be going to DL Nov 10-12th (a quick weekend trip) I haven't been to DL in forever so I am so excited!!!

Oh these people were on Good Morning America this morning. It was SO COOL!! They were standing in the middle of the street. Horns started blasting and out came ever character you could think of around the family. Mom was crying, dad was crying, I was crying!
