Well, my mother told me to book the family another Disney cruise for this Spring. We will be doing the 4 Day again sometime in Apirl or May. I've got to call Monday and find out what dates are open for all of us.

Just HAD to go to Disneyland this weekend to see the Fall/Halloween decorations…

The whole park is SO orange and pretty… it was a beautiful fall day in Southern California… cool and not crowded at the park.

I know that everyone out there can’t get to the parks so I’m posting a few pictures for you… let me know if you like them.

We have just put our house up for sale and have been so busy. I just decided to come on the boards this morning and catch up.

We went to DL on Friday. I took almost all the exact same pics as you. LOL. I was so surprised to see how many of your shots were the same as mine! Great pics by the way.

With the cooler temps out here and DL so fall decorated it really got me in the fall mood. (I LOVE the holidays).

We hope your dd is doing well with her pregnancy.

Hi Sandy! We'll be up at the Park again the weekend of Nov 10 through 13 at the Grand Californian. If you folks can make it up that weekend, be our guest for Concierge visit! What fun!!! That is great that your entire family goes and has such fun! I wish we could get some of our family to go on a Disney cruise! I almost had my sister talked into coming.... Maybe I ought to work on her two youngest (6 & 9)....
She's never taken any of her kids to Disney - she has 5, also. 21ds, 20dd, 17ds, 9dd & 6dd. I told her she should be ashamed. :

She's never taken any of her kids to Disney - she has 5, also. 21ds, 20dd, 17ds, 9dd & 6dd. I told her she should be ashamed. :

Before the cruise I had orderd the DVD cruise package. I gave it to my daughter on Saturday and she and her 4 year old daughter watched part of it yesterday. Talked to her later in the day and they have moved up their plans to sail from Dec. 2008 to Dec 2007. I tried telling her about how the kids just love the kids' activities, but the DVD did the trick. I took all of my four kids and 9 grandkids plus ex-wife and her friend and Valerie to WDW last October and the experience was so great that Kelly ( my oldest DD) wants to combine WDW with cruise. It's hard to describe how kids can have such a good time and even never leave the ship in some cases. Without a doubt the Disney staff is tooooo good to believe.

I know BOO and HISS the trader! But I have just about talked my parents into doing a 5 night on RCCL. But as much as I enjoy Nassau, I would really like to go somewhere different.

But I'm battling a 5 year old who informed his Grandfather that he now thinks he is old enough to take on Capt Hook. (9 months later) He said last time he just got mad at him. This time he said he could go sword to sword with him. But he needs to know when he is getting his second Disney cruise?

So it's the battle between the Aunt (me, who is tired of Nassau) vs the 5 year old Nephew (who thinks he can take on Capt Hook and wants to be Prince Charming for Halloween). Who will win!!

That's what I'll do! I'll give her the DVD!!!!! And their staff is too good to believe! I know my 5dd LOVES the kids club! LOL!
Your trip with your kids & grandkids sounds like fun! I can't get my mom or dad or dh's parents to want to go on the cruise..... None of them are interested in Disney.....

I have a picture of Steph's son with Jacqueline at the ray pool in Barbados & Crystal and her boys being interviewed in Antigua on our way to Pineapple Beach Resort.
Kirsty~ Jacqueline realized she & Juliette had the same bathingsuit, but never did bump into each other~ she was disappointed - she said Juliette looked like she must be a fun girl from your photo trip report!

Steph, if we go it will be the 4 night. I order the dvd also. I took it to my mother to watch. She then showed it to my dad. My sales pitch was "Picture your grandkids in this video!" They then had a "family" meeting with all of us. The expression on the grandkids face as they watched the video sold it for my parents. They were at the back of the room watching the kids and grandkids. LOL I was watching my parents. My dad simply nodded his head yes. I just busted out laughing! The others had not a clue as to what was going on. I'm not sure who squealed louder, the kids or the grandkids!!

My parents took our pictures and the dvd to a family friend last week. The family friend watched the video and my parents used the same sales pitch. I just put the deposit down for 5 cabins for this family of 13.

I swear that dvd is a gold mine!


Yup again this spring. Everyone is all for the Disney cruise with the exception of myself and my dad. He and I both agree if it went somewhere besides Nassau we would go for it. There's really nothing there that I want to do that I haven't already done. But I know my dad, the grandkids just have to say PLEASE PAPA! and he is a goner!

Hello Everyone,

My dh and I can communication problems setting this whole thing up. Imagine that!

It turns out that in order to put all of the pics in one folder on the file, you each will have to either email them to me (gulp) or snail mail them to me on a disc and we have to upload them here.

From there, however, everyone is able to view them, edit them, copy them, download them, print them, whatever your heart desires.

So, if anyone is interested please either email at galaxseacolumbus@aol.com or send me a cd with your pics/video and my dh will upload it for everyone to share. I'm sorry for the mass confusion at this point, and cannot wait to be able to share pics with all of you. BTW, I will mail back your cd to you once I have downloaded it to the website!

I have 4 cds of photos - some are blurry due to movement, some are dark due to not knowing how to operate my new camera and some rock my socks off I can send them down to you if you want.

Which restaurant did you have that dessert at and what is it?! It looks so good!

I went to Disneyland the day they opened halloween time, but I didn't go into the park. I just loved the decorations on the tram route. I like the Nightmare before X-mas so I love when they decorate the haunted mansion and have all the nightmare themed desserts!

For those of you who lost your pictures (or cameras!). I am so sorry! We almost left ours in our taxi in Barbados, luckily wee realized we were missing it and the taxi driver was nice enough to come back and return it to us. i had pictures from an underwater camera get lost at costco too once from a cruise we took. After that we got under water cases for our cameras and we take care of our own pictures. I know what it is like and i symphatize. Hopefully everyone will have enough pictures to console you. (We are having problem up loading ourpictues now. They download, but then you can't view them afterwards. It's weird.)

My Shoreside Survival Kit came in the mail the other day and I was so excited, BUT when I opened it the disk was broken I can't believe that Disney is still sending this out without safer packaging, anyone else have the same problem?
