Thanks, I did a FAM there last year. We did 21 resorts in 10 days. :faint: It was a place I never really had a thought of going to before, but after being there. I would have to say it's the most relaxing place I have ever been in my life! I did however managed to break my ankle while I was over there. :rolleyes1 That made everything even more interesting.

Wow, we are up to 15 posts per hour! Is anybody having fun yet?!?

This was posted on another cruise board by some someone that supposedly is *in the know*... Does anyone else know if this stuff is right??? These are the dinners --

Day 1. Let the Magic Begin
Day 2. Golden Mickey's (Formal Night)
DAy 3. Standard Rotation
Day 4. Standard Rotation
DAy 5. Standard Rotation
DAy 6. Master Chef (Semi Formal)
DAy 7. Pirates Night
DAy 8. Taste of the Caribbean
DAy 9. Captain's Gala (Formal Night)
DAy 10. Till we meet again

So, how can we find out for sure if there is a semi-formal night? My wife will do serious harm to me if there is one and she doesn't have something appropriate to wear! I didn't see anything in our docs on this.....

Steve and I both called Disney. NO semi-formal night on this cruise.

These are the same movies from a couple of weeks ago...what no PremEARS at Sea? I thought we would get a new movie opening Sept. 8th. Oh, well I haven't seen Cars yet and Invincible is said to be pretty good.

My docs don't have any real infprmation about the cruise in them!

Y'alls do??? Mine doesn't say anyting about Pirate night, Formal nights or anything.... In fact the docs we received for this cruise hardly had any information in them compared to the information we were sent for our 3 nt! LOL!

15dd had a look of horror on her face when she read that there might be a semi-foraml night... :) She thought she was packed already!

I went to Disney's movie website a couple of days ago -- I was hoping for a PremEARS at sea, also... And the next round of movies seem to be the Christmas movies coiming out in Oct & Nov. :sad2:

The one thing you can always count on, is that if you call the Disney Desk, they'll give you different answers each time you call! :rotfl2:

I decided if there is a semi-formal night, to just wear a nice pair of pants and a sparkle top. Nothing too fancy.

I can't wait to see the movie CARS, so hope that really will be onboard for our cruise. Yahoo!

Amlee: Thanks for the list you sent. It is simply wonderful!

Off to the sewing store for more thread.

Have a good day all.

You sound as graceful as I am!!! :rolleyes1 I was leaving the Dollar Tree last week and wasn't paying attention and stepped in a hole and twisted my ankle! I am a clutz!

Your welcome on the list!!

:rotfl2: I am GRACELESS!!! If there is a hole to fall in, steps to stumble over. Rest assure! I will find them.

I havent' said anything, but believe it or not, I slipped night before last and just about hit the floor. All I could think about was OH snot! There goes the cruise. I managed to catch myself on the counter before I could hit the floor. I've been a little sore in the back, I don't think I damaged any of the bone graph or the fusion.

For all of the classes and tours, do you sign up for all of them at guest services? Is there a way to know what all is available before getting on the ship? If not will they have a list at guest services? :confused3

I'm thinking you sign up for them all at GS. They should have a list of what is open and the different times. You can't get them before you board. It's a first come, first serve type thing. When we did the 4 night we didn't get to the ship until around 1 and ALL the bridge tour booking was full.

I am sure Mike will be happy to take pictures at the scrappers meet. He has a tendancy to take over group photography anyway since he has done it thousands of times.

That is wonderful - tell him thanks (when you let him know you volunteered him!).

What about a Group photo of ALL the Dis people? On the PC repo cruise in August (the infamous Ship of Fools) they did one in the Atrium between dinner rotations. Unfortunately we missed it 'cause we had to leave the ship early so I'm not sure how they arranged it with Shutters.

We leave for Florida tonight!

We are going to try to do that......If someone hasn't already arranged it I can ask conceirge to arrange it with Shutters when we board.

They did theirs on Pirate night. :)

Did we want Pirate night? Or one of the Formail nights? We can have people vote at the Dismeet! LOL!

LOL I'm not taking ANY risk! I think I scared myself more than anything. That night I dreamed that I was standing at the port and Mickey was waving bye to me as the ship sailed away with out me. :rotfl2:

Thanks for all the well wishes! Mama has came out of surgery fine. A few days bed rest and she should be good to go by Monday.

This came out of the Orlando Sentinel

September 1, 2006

PORT CANAVERAL -- A Turkish national was arrested at Port Canaveral on Thursday on charges that as a crew member of the Disney Wonder cruise ship, he exposed himself to three women during a voyage that ended Thursday.

Omer Yuksel Songur, 38, was taken into custody by Brevard County sheriff's agents and charged with disorderly conduct and exposing himself. He remained Thursday night in the Brevard County Jail with bail set at $500. He would be released only to federal immigration officers if he could post bail or the case is resolved, and they most likely would return him to Turkey.

According to an arrest report, Songur was seen by the three women while on duty during the cruise.

Disney Cruise Line spokeswoman Rena Langley said Thursday night that the company cooperated with Brevard agents as well as the Coast Guard and the FBI.

"The safety of our guests is the top priority at Disney Cruise Line," she said. "We take allegations like this very seriously."

She said Songur was no longer employed by the cruise line, where he worked in food service. He had been with the company 11/2 years and had never been in trouble.

Langley said Songur was "isolated from guest areas" after the incident was reported to the ship's staff.

Gary Taylor, Henry Pierson Curtis, Dave Weber, Willoughby Mariano, Sarah Lundy, Keith W. Kohn and Amy L. Edwards of the Sentinel staff contributed to this report.
