I found some eight packs of those wedding bubbles at Deals tonight and picked up all they had (5 pkgs).
Karen
Count two big kids at heart for bubbles too.

Don't worry about buying more of them! I've bought plenty for the sailaway party myself! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Between us we should have every one that wants some covered! :lmao:

Steph, you are too oraganized for words. Can I rent you to organize me? :rotfl2:

I have started to make my Pirate shirt. What am I thinking? I'm doing a three day cruise this weekend and time is running out. :hourglass

I found one in a garage sale someone else made for 50 cents. That took skill too. :rotfl2:

Like all good wine, materials need to age too. :teeth:

CRUISE SHIP RUNS AGROUND AS NAVIGATOR AVOIDS HURRICANES BUT CAN"T DODGE BUBBLES

You are going to give Steve alias Goofy Guy competition as the funniest comedian.

My husband is planning on eating in the same dining room as the girls but I told him he has to be on the other side of the room. He is planing to eat with HiYaPal's husband Jeff. If you would like to join them Steve,it could be fun.

Thank you for the invite. I may well take you up on it to better mingle in with the crowd after I throw Leira1989 ( Valerie) overboard if she keeps making snide remarks. May her bubbles not work! :furious:

There are at least 67 staterooms. Probably more as some of the screen names have 6 or 7 people attached to them but no stateroom # yet.
I think max right now is around 70.

With the potential for so many gifts I changed my fish extender. It is now 3 55 gallon drums tied together; one marked "Notes" and two marked "Gifts"

Question Amy. What do you need magnetic tape for? Just curious. :teeth: JoAnns Fabrics might have some as well as Hobby Lobby.

I got a flat dry erase board to go on our door. I need the tape to make stay on the door.

We made it to Atlanta. You people sure have done a lot of chatting in the few hours. I've been on the road.

Are we allowed to do that? Someone on another thread said you can ask and they might give you an old menu. You'd think they would make them so people could take them away.

Our waiter in Feb said if we would bring a large bag with us to dinner. he would let us have our menu. So the night of AP. I took a bag and got one of the Cindy menu's.

We are still looking to have our dining linked if anyone is interested, else we might end up having to eat with "the others" (non-DISer's :scared1: ). Is it possible to have all of our tables near one another? Let me know if anyone is interested in (late) dining with us (me, DH, and DS-14).

I don't think you would want to link with us -- we don't have any teen boys! :) Our sons are 26 & 8........

Look onthe roster and see if there are others with sons your age that may want to link. :)

We were given a Thanksgiving menu last November. It makes a really nice souvenier.

Don't forget we'll also need a few ice buckets to keep the white wines chilled, unless your suite has a larger fridge.

Thanks for the reminder! I know there is a bar area with a sink (there's one in the Cat 3, also) but, I've never been in a 1 so, I don't know the details about what is already in the suite.

Stephanie, would it be ok if Ted and I came to the wine tasting just to socialize? I don't think that we will drink any wine.

Of course! That is why it is now listed as a Wine Tasting and Just Plain Party! :goodvibes

We want everyone to feel welcome! Several people that are on the list had PM'd me that they wouldn't be drinking and that is just fine with me! :)
Tell Ted that there will be Pepsi available. :thumbsup2

You know, I have feelings too!!! With comments like that, I had no alternative but to contact DCL and request that your side of the stateroom not have electricity or anything that functions in any way relative to the wheel just so you could experience firsthand how we pioneers made this country great. While I was at it, I also requested NO RUNNING WATER ON YOUR SIDE!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :badpc:

Buddy you are so right and I am sooooooooooooooooo wrong. Bad Bad Leira
PLEASE LET ME PAY FOR YOUR CRUISE. THAT'S THE LEAST THAT I CAN DO.
:worship: :worship: :worship:

Okay, checking in and beginning to feel like a really disgruntled Pirate pirate: pirate:

Geez, if pirates had to have their shirts made like the one I'm sewing, I don't think they would have had any time to pillage, rape and plunder. On the other hand, maybe that's why they did all those nasty things, just to find a good seamstress! LOL! :rotfl2:

Steph: You're doing a great job! Three Cheers for Steph! :cheer2:

Alex: I sent you a PM, did you receive it?

Okay, back to the sweat shop...... :bitelip:

Fellow DISers,
I relinquish my PC to Buddy while I go check on a steak and potato dinner for him, and as thanks, he posts the above as me! :sad2:

I am so jealous of you all. You only have to put up with him for 10 days!! We'll be on vacation a total of 18 and he will have no one else to pick on but little old me.:angel: :rolleyes1

Pay for his 1/2 of the cruise. Right! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Don't encourage him folks. Just a warning. :lmao:

has anyone choosen late seating with thier children ? We are normally late eaters and hopefully there will be a few other children in the dining rooms along with us...Lisa

We have late dining and 2 young children. We had late dining on our past 2 cruises and it worked out great for us! Originally we had Early dining and I changed it as soon as I noticed. :teeth:

Had a great time meeting Sandy and her family, and Celia and John at DL. Wishing that more of you lived on the west coast, so we could had a big Pre-cruise meet.

Stephanie- Do you think we can all still fit in your room, or will the party have to continue after dinner!!! :rotfl2:

Cant wait to get on board to:

dance, eat, watch a show, go swimming, sneak on to the mickey slide(need lots of pixide dust), watch POTC2, eat, go visit the arcade, take Shelby's pics with all the characters, sleep, eat, go do some tours of the ship, eat, go to dinner, have some breakfast, sneak in a lunch, have a drink at the bar, grab a snack, order room service, play bingo, do some laundry, go to the Pirates in the carribean party, go to stephanie's room and "taste" some wine, celebrate a b-day, hang my fish extender, put up door magnets, sneak into the kids club with my neice, meet some fellow disers, have a snack on deck 9, visit the beach blanket buffet, have a mickey bar, get pillow cases signed, go to the Character breakfast, Remember to iron clothes early as the lines get insane on formal night, sleep, shower, shave, order breakfast, have soft soft serve ice cream, learn how to fold and make towel animals, visit the secret place on deck 7, shop at the duty free, shop at mickey treasure "ketch", bid on a auction, watch some movies in my stateroom, listen/watch Susan eagn, go see the Muppets, watch Hercules, purchase pics at shutters, trade pins, go to Castaway Cay, go to Cookies, look for the sunken Mickey, take lots of pictures, take lots of video, not worry about work, and lastley Just Relax!!!

Steve

I wish we could have all met at DL, also!!

The party can continue as long as y'all want it to!!! :lmao: :lmao:

And I love your list of things you want to do on board! I second all of them!

BTW -- I look just like my pic. BUT, when I am outside I will ALWAYS have on sunglasses. :) Probably the ones with built in reading glasses! :rotfl: :rotfl: I am in my 40's!!!!! And if you saw the pics of my dh (on my photobucket site) he looks exactly like his pics and he is over 6' tall so, that is how I find him in a crowd. :rotfl:

Ahhhh Lisa...lol...yes we have late dining...but I can't imagine I will be dining with Ally...there will be stuff going on, I presume in the kids room...we are on the waiting list for early...lol...but I doubt we will get it. I may end up eating with Ally at the buffet every night. Does anyone else have this dilemma?

I think you may be surprised that late dinner may work for you! We love going to the 6pm show and then going to dinner at 8. If we get hungry in the late afternoon we grab a quick snack on deck 9.

Wow, I have been away from the boards for a while. We are doing the 4night wonder followed by the 10-night wonder. Our room number has changed. We were in 7119 but we are now in 5001. We saved 521 by going from a Category 11 to a GTY 12 and we ended up in an 11 anyway!!! I am so looking forward to these cruises!!!! We will be up on top deck waiting for everyone to board!!!

I'll change your room number on the roster! I look froward to meeting y'all!!!

I spent mroe then I planned to but, I know our family will wear them for Halloween -- and any other time they get a chance!! :lmao: :lmao: My 8ds told me *Mom, you can never have too many Pirate costumes.* He's the child that asked Santa for costumes only when he was 5. :) Santa delivered.

I would love to, also. BUT, I can not organize another thing! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I will be stressed beyond belief! :teeth: I am a first born, wife & mother of 5. I can't help but, be bossy and in charge most of the time! :rotfl2:

I would love to participate! And we could probably use our stateroom to hang out and chat, etc...
