9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

The hotel contacted the transportation company regarding children's rates. They agreed to discount children's fares to $10 R/T ( they didn't specify ages--so use your own discresion). Adults are $15 R/T. Piglett33, I also asked about the taxi fares since your visit two years ago. Apparently, they have experience gas price increases just as we have over the last couple of years and the fares reflect that jump. The hotel assured me you can expect to pay $54 R/T for 1-3 people in a taxi from the pier to the hotel. Everyone must make their own decision regarding taxis, but I need to send a final count to the hotel by end of week. Please send me a PM with the total number of adults and children, if you would like to reserve group trasportation. Since I don't have access to my list, please send me a PM even if you confirmed before. Pick up will be at 8:30 a.m. on the pier and leaving the hotel at 4:00 p.m., so early diners will have time to get ready.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll try to check PMs at least once a day.

I would love to, also. BUT, I can not organize another thing! I will be stressed beyond belief! I am a first born, wife & mother of 5. I can't help but, be bossy and in charge most of the time!

I would love to participate! And we could probably use our stateroom to hang out and chat, etc...

Steph, you have already done so much and we will not stress you out with scrapbooking. If you are up to us using your room as a gathering place that would be great, but don't feel tied to that.

Maybe we could all meet for lunch again or is that a crazy suggestion?
Having never cruised I don't know which way is up, and what happens when, but I guess we all have to eat.

Such as swapping Disney or Cruise related items and sharing ideas, and memories, near the end of the cruise.

Do you mean Labor day monday or this monday? DB (that stands for "dear boss") is not so thrilled about a last minute 10 days off...asking for another one off at the last minute is not going to happen. Now, if you mean labor day monday - let's talk...although I had planned on the labor being packing! But I can be talked out of packing!!! Any chance we could meet at Old Orchard instead? When should we do this?? I was thinking near the end of the cruise.

Last week I made a packing list and included exact outfits I will be packing. My SO laughed at me and he called me a freak. Yesterday I was at my sister's house for the night and I come back home to find out he has EVERYTHING of his packed in the luggage and ready to go....now who is the freak in our household? This is the same guy that doesn't really "get" the Disney magic so I was suprised. We went to bed and he wouldn't stop talking about the vacation..it was getting close to midnight and he still wouldn't stop talking so I had to kick him out of bed to go downstairs and watch TV so I can sleep (he went very willingly, he knew it was a good idea). I woke up this morning and turns out he slept from 1:00am-3:00am...he is just too excited to sleep and we still have another week before we leave!!!! Maybe he is starting to get a little about the power of the disney magic.

Hi Karen! I actually made our "fish extender". Chipper's DH put it on the website for me, since I am definitely computer challenged. Of course, anything for a good friend, right?

Great job on the fish extender Celia, sorry I didn't give credit where credit is due Have a fun trip this weekend.

I wish I were part of FirstTimers family ... a 10 night cruise followed by an 11 night cruise .... 21 days with DCL sounds like heaven to me
