Boy has February gone by quickly. We are already practicing for baseball (our oldest plays for his high school) and our middle child is trying out for little league today. Our youngest is bowling this morning and all 3 bowl in a Pepsi Cola scholarship tournament tomorrow. Needless to say we are very busy this weekend. The good thing about it is it seems that time is passing quickly until the cruise. The bad thing is that we are wishing the summer away. :wizard:

How did they do in the tournament? My oldest 2 used to bowl in a league. They did quite a few city wide tournaments and one of them did the State tournament for 2 yrs.

It was fun!

2 of our children (the 8ds & nearly 15dd) are in a play that opens the end of March so, our month is going to be busy with rehearsals! :)

I know what you mean about *wishng the summer away*! We are going to have to be very careful!

Well, we move in two weeks! (we've sold our current home...the home we're building isn't ready...so everything is going into storage while we rent for a few months!) :crazy2: I'd better get to work packing. Happy Monday.

Lisa

ACK! I HATE moving! I'm sure your new house is wonderful but, I don't envy you! ;)

Have fun!

Well....you KNOW that this cruise is not selling well when they are now offering substantial Florida resident discounts for it. I wish I could have sailed at a discount! I might have been able to find someone to take Kim's place and be able to go.

Really, they now have FL resident discounts for this cruise.....wow and we haven't even made it to the date where the total price is due. Maybe they will upgrade all of us!!!!! :cool1:

Sorry I have not posted in a few days. We are finally caught up after a very busy weekend. The boys all did very well in the bowling tournament this weekend. All 3 of them bowled over their averages. It was a lot of fun watching them and they are hopeful that they did well enough to qualify for the state tournament. We'll just have to wait and see.

The weather here has been very cold with some snow, but today the sun is shining. Can't wait until spring is actually here and there are a few more hours of daylight.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Hi everyone! It has been a while since we stopped in to check on the thread. We hope everyone is well. A few things have changed with us and our trip. We are now taking two friends with us in our room (Kevin and Julia). My mother (Andrea) also wanted to come (she suggested that she sleep on our couch) so I booked her in the room next door to us.

We are looking forward to the trip. Let us know if we can help plan the DIS meet or a party!

:cool1: I just called DCL and saved over $1000.00 with the new FL resident rates! :thumbsup2 I thought I had a great price with my onboard booking discount and credit! :teeth: My DH will be thrilled. Look out Vista Spa, here I come! ;)

Well, I'm still not decide between the 10 and 11 day. The price difference makes the 10 day tempting, but St. kitts is appealing as well. i guess I'll just wait until payment is due and decide at that time!!!

We may also see what is in store for 2007 and swap one of the cruises to that one!!!

What can we do to help? When we are onboard in June, I would be happy to speak the Concierge about some food and beverage. Maybe we can even get exclusive use of the Buena Vista Theatre or another meeting space. We should also plan on having dinner one evening at Palo and using the private dining room. Let us know what we can do...

I am already working on plans for the 10 night in September and for a year after that for a our "mega month-long vacation" in September 2007. I am in a planning mood!!

This cruise will be our third cruise. Two Eastern cruises on the Magic. I loved being able to read the trip reports on the seven day so that i could plan my days. Not knowing what the itinerary will be on the 10 day is tough. Any word as to which shows, any knew ones, which nights? Want to make Palo reservations for both Brunch and Dinner. Anybody have the scoop on this? Or maybe if you've been on other 10 day Holday cruise, please share the differences. I love surprizes but Im like a little kid, I can't wait that long.

I am so excited. DH has just agreed to do the 10day Cruise instead of the 4night cruise in December. :cool1:

We are all switched over and ready to see new places in the Caribbean.

WOOHOO!!!! Nice change of plans for you Angelgurl! Ten days instead of 4. NICE!!

I thought that 14 days on the PC cruise would be too much but now I am wondering if 10 days will be ENOUGH!! You can never get it all in!

For some reason, I haven't even started looking into the ports for this one. Normally I am the obsessive planner and this time I have taken a different attitude. Guess it will change in a couple of months. Or let's say, I HOPE IT DOES. I am so layed back this time and kind of like it.

:bounce: I am so glad that the week is already half over. I can not wait to be able to relax this weekend. My work has been very hectic and it does not seem as though it is going to quit anytime soon. :furious:

I think it would be very cool if we could all book a night in Palo in the private room. What a nice way to get to know each other. The meet and greet in the Buena Vista Theater also sounds like a nice place to meet and greet.

Now that we are making plans, I am even more thrilled about this vacation. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1: :yay: :bounce:

The private room in Palo is not very big. It only holds about 12 people. I remember having brunch in there with friends and we filled it. I didn't even realize that BV theater would be available for something like this. That's pretty cool! On the PC cruise we did it in the Rockin Bar D (or something like that, I can never remember the correct name) and it was perfect but I do remember it being hard to get. We have also done it on the Secret Verandah.
