Consider the Van Horns friends :grouphug: even though they are in Colorado & I am in New Jersey!
I thought we were family!!!! :teeth:

I haven't researched anything yet because I haven't had time, but I hope to soon.

I have a question about trip insurance. Who is using Disney's travel insurance or who is getting their own through a different company? I signed up for Disney but read that it will not cover airfare or the WDW stay before the cruise. So I went to tripinsurance.com and was overwhelmed and not sure what to choose and what I need. Can anyone help me?

My travel agent gave me links to Travel Guard and recommended "Cruise Guard" and "Protect Assist". I haven't yet selected a carrier yet either, too much information, but given that we're traveling over hurricane season.....An uncle of mine had a problem had a problem a few years ago (a heart problem on a Royal Caribbean Cruise) and he was hospitalized in Jamaca for a few days then medivacked to Baltimore. Just for the helicopter it was over $30K but all was covered by the insurance.

Have a good week!

Thank you!!!!!

Winter is back and the Lake Erie snow machine has been turned back on. We got over 12 iches in the last 2 days. Monday, the kids got a snow day. As you can imagine they were thrilled. :yay: This sure does make everyone long for our September cruise. Sunshine, fruity drinks, good food and Mickey. What could be better than that.

I thought at the beginning of this post that someone was making door magnets and name tags for the group. Is that still true and do I need to PM my information to anyone? Thanks for your help.

That is a good question. It seems the original few people have disappeared from the thread.

I know that Miss Eyeore is still around. I PM'd her when I joined the thread and she wrote back to say I was "on the list." :sunny: I hope WeluvDCL is still around, too. The door magnets are a GREAT idea. :cheer2:

Is it September, yet? :Pinkbounc

I'm here!

No snow for us this winter.....but the rain! I think we might need to bring that darn Wonder up here to the pacific northwest so we can use her as an ark!

Miss Eeyore, at least you are getting moisture. Our mtns are getting dumped on while we in Denver remain dry.

It seems that everyone is having a strange winter this year. This week is about the 1st it has snowed in about a month. Maybe, we will get an early spring.

Yay, it snowed about an inch where I live last night!!!!

We are suppose to be getting a snow storm starting tomorrow night..into Sunday.

Dreaming of DCL..... :goodvibes

Well today is Saturday, lots of cleaning to be done. Would you believe that the suitcase we took for souvenirs in November still has not been all the way unpacked. :sad2: I will get that done today.

If anyone is interested, I went to Michael's craft store last night and they had a lot of Cinderella and other princesses stuff on clearance for $3. I don't have any girls, but I thought some of you maybe interested.

:cool1: Thanks for the head's up on the Cinderella stuff. The little girl that I watch on T & THurs thinks she IS princess: princess! I even plan to be in the same parking lot today so will have to run over there. :thumbsup2

Sorry if this has been askd already. Does anyone have a clue or a guess as to when the special nights (such as pirarted, formal etc.) will be. Thanks

That's a great question. I was wondering the same thing myself.

SnowWhite posted the following back on page 28:

6 casual night
1 Pirate\Tropical
1 semi-formal (Thursday Sept. 14)
2 Formal (Sept.9 & Sept. 15)

That's all I know right now...it will be so much fun when DCL releases more info...I'm sure we'll be in a planning frenzy! :teeth:

They can't release more info fast enough for me. I am very anxious as I am sure many of you are to get the most information as possible. This is all very exciting.

I just want to know about excursions!!!!

I second that. I'm sure that they will announce them pretty soon, especially since June will mark the 90 day point for ressie's and booking excursions.

I have a friend that said that snorkeling is awesome in Barbados. I know my son will be looking for deep sea fishing excursions.

My coworker says that in Barbados you can take an awesome excursion where you go horseback riding up to a palace and taste test different rums. Barbados is the island that produces the most rum (that's what my coworker said they told him on the tour.)
