Steve

WOW Steve, What a great magnet!...

Soooo uuuh.... Where is mine?

Very cool, Steve! Yes...everyone I'm back from laptop HELL! We now have TWO A/C cords for our laptop.

If I missed sending a magnet to anyone, please send me another PM with your email address.

Also, I put the wraps on the Pineapple Beach transportation. I reserved transport for:
winnyis (2 adults, 2 children)
Chipper & Tinkerme1
J&K'sPrincessMommy (2 adults, 2 children)
DODDLEBUG'S MOM (2 adults, 1 child)
DisneyGirlTinkerbell (2 adults, 1 child)

If I missed anyone, send me a PM ASAP.

I finally got doc on Tuesday. My TA was off last week!
I have a question...what happens if you put the DCL tags on your luggage and you don't have transfers. Will the luggage go without you? Just curious....

Love the magnet, Steve! DH has gone a little crazy with the magnet thing so I am going to have to edit before I actually print them. He tends to get a little strange at times with his creativity. He has also said that he would like to participate in the Scrappers meet. I will try to get a definite answer from him tomorrow.

For those with a late flight out on the 17th, you are all welcome to join us at the Hyatt. We have an executive room booked for the day which is 450sf with a balcony. That gives the kids a place to play and watch TV :happytv: and the adults can sit on the balcony and finish off any unconsumed "liquids" before boarding. :drinking1

I asked Disney that same question...if you don't have Disney Transfers...don't put the Disney luggage tags on until after you claim your luggage at the airport.

And she also said, that they would not go without you, as luggage has to have an owner on their bus.

I have a towncar transfer....

Steve, your magnet is great.

I also think that it would be cool to see the shuttle launch, but like everyone else I would rather not deal with the traffic.

Last night was meet the teacher night at my DS8 and DS9's school. Both teachers were very cool about getting together assignments for while we are gone.

Steve - love the magnet. You really did a great job. I did all of our magnets and then screwed them up trying to cut them with the paper cutter...oh well, next time I will make my dad cut mine as well.

How much are the 1gb cards at Costco before and after the rebate?

Just returned from COSTCO and they have a really good price on 1Gig cards for digital cameras.

On 2gig ones, also! :teeth: I was at Costco yesterday.....

I'm so glad you are off the laptop! LOL!

It is my understanding that if you don't have the transfers you aren't supposed to put your tags on until you get to the port.....

That's wonderful!

Latest update from Naples:

I am sitting at home this morning and the paper is not opening their business offices until noon today. However, I am thinking of getting ready and heading on in as Ernesto is only dumping rain on us right now and it is directlyjust east of us. It hasn't turned into as bad of a storm for us on the west coast of Florida as expected. I do seem to have a leak in my roof, bummer. :sad2: That can be fixed.

8 days and counting!!!! :jumping1:

Carol, in not so sunny Florida

The 1gb cards at Costco were about $45 with a $15 dollar rebate. Our Costco does not have 2 gb so I can't tell you. Now these are for SD cards so I'm not sure what ones everybody uses. Rebate was only good to the end of August.

Steve Nice magnet and Shelby looks very content sleeping like that.

:rotfl2: So each new trip I would go out and buy those cheap 3 to 6 in a pack at Wally-World.

:moped:
I liked the idea soooo much that I went out and bought a new three-pack. but now I am in a quandry. If I wear the one new pair for the cruise and the second pair is emergency hurricane wear, what do I do with the third pair? I suppose I could take it with me and drop it in someone's fish extender as an extra special gift. :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: I'm just afraid that someone will think I'm a clothes freak having so much underwear! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yeah...I figured they wouldn't take them without the owner! It was worth a try.

WeLuvDisneyAll6ofUs (Darlene) and my family are arriving at the same time, so we decided to share a "Hummerzine"--yep, that'll be us rolling up in the super strech Hummer:cool1: ! Believe it or not, it was cheaper per person than Disney transfers!

Great, thanks. Looks like I have to stop by costco tonight after work.

That is why we are taking Disney transfers instead of the Hummer..... Dh REALLY doesn't want to touch the luggage at ALL! LOL! And with 7 of us it would be cheaper to take the Hummer...

As one who has never been able to properly use a paper cutter, I certain can sympathize with you. I was in college, an education major, and one of our courses required us to use media that might be in a classroom, such as projectors, laminators, etc. My deepest shame is that this Honors Student got an "F" in Using the Paper Cutter. The professor actually came by and made me stop using it. If I put in too many pages, everything comes out looking ripped up. If I put in less, I end up cutting things off or I somehow get the strangest angles. :confused3

If you have arranged transfers with Disney they will not sail until all transfered passengers have arrived on the ship. The last bus leaves MCO at 1:45. If you arrive after that time frame you have to call Mears to arrange a shuttle. That number is 1-407-423-5566. They will let Disney know you are on your way.
AMLEE ~ I just read that to my DH who said, "Go ahead and switch us to the earlier flight!" I was so  I have been DYING to switch and he was all , "leave well enogh alone" so now when we were supposed to be leaving NYC at 11:30am we will be landing at 11:30am!
Thanks so much for the information!

I am so glad someone knows where I am coming from!!! I didn't realize those things were so difficult to use. I graduated with honors from college, but I admit I cannot use a stupid paper cutter and will never ever attempt to again!!!! I guess education isn't everything. :teeth: :goodvibes
