9/6/10 labor day

I worked today, but I did get out early. I don't mind working holidays - it's kind of fun to work alone for a change of pace. Then I popped over to Michael's to pick up a few things and try to use my coupon. I didn't because everything i wanted was on sale or clearance - their clearance section was amazing! I may have to check out my 2nd Michael's this week to see how their clearance section is. Now tonight I HAVE to finish my BFF's baby album because I've committed to seeing her on Wed morning and I want to give it to her then (and reclaim my dining room table which has been unusable for a month!) I also have to wrap her DD's birthday present and come up with a card. Got to go get cracking!

It was nice to have an extra day off for the weekend.

Made bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Went grocery shopping
Made chocolate pumpkin muffins
Brought van to garage for brakes and new tires
Did three loads of laundry
Pork chops and corn on the cob for dinner

Had a good day, not much this morning, big DB came over before we headed to mom's for dinner and put my new dining room light up, still didn't get to my last 2 curtain rods though, oh well next trip up.
Had a yummy dinner with the family, tomorrow is Megan's last day of summer vacation she's wanting one last PJ lazy day, sounds good to me!
