to this dinner show this late?

I just booked so thought we would have a much better chance of having the good "on the floor" seats at this late show....

Anyone been to the late one? Busy at all, where are party of six tables?

I need the SCOOP - I am very excited!!! Never thought I would do this!!!!

THANK YOU!!!

This is our last night in Disney....we thought we would have a later breakfast (9:30 at Boma) and then head over to the Animal Kingdom. Go back to the hotel for an afternoon swim and rest and then return to the AK for the Extra Evening Hours which are over at 8:00 that night. This would leave us plenty of time to get to the HDDR. We have a car so waiting for buses wont be an issue. (Yes, I know I need to take an internal bus at Fort Wilderness). I hope we wont be too exhausted to enjoy it but it is the only night it can be done.

You will love HDDR! We have been twice and had a blast! The first time we planned the 9:30 show on the day of our arrival. We thought it would be okay, since we were still on Texas time. We ended up extending our trip and getting to WDW earlier in the week, so we saw the show after a day in the parks. Our 4 and 6 year-olds fell asleep after they ate a little bit and I think even our 8-year-old was asleep by the very end. The show itself is lots of fun and funny for both kids and adults. So, it wasn't the show that put them to sleep, they were just really tired from our day. Your kids look older, so I think they should be fine, especially with some rest time in the afternoon. Our 10-year-old was totally awake the whole time. We sat at the same table for 6 both times. Next to the stage and all the way to the left. My husband was even the butt of the same joke both times. :rotfl2: You are right to be excited! :cool1: It is really a fun family time and would be a great way to end your vacaiton. :thumbsup2

We, 3 adults, did the late show in October. I would not take children at that hour, personally, maybe teenagers. The day is just SO exhausting and almost every child at our show was asleep about an hour in. Once they got food in their tummy they were out. The table next to us had 2 schoolage children and they really were enjoying the show but both kids crashed soon after dinner and the couple ended up leaving halfway through to take them home to bed. I felt bad they spent all that money on tickets and had to leave! They had a hard time figuring out where to put the sleeping kids since they were big =) We had no problem staying up but it was our slow day and we slept in late. We also ended up stopping at the WL lounge (where we were staying) for appetizers about 2 hours prior because we were hungry!

The show we attended was not full at all - half the bottom floor was full and that was it. The tables move around as needed so I can't tell you where table of 6's are.

We booked 2 days in advance while at WDW and we had great seats but the show wasn't full at all. This was in mid-October.

I hope you enjoy it - we love it!!
