9/27/14, Returning to the Southern Caribbean

I have never done the zipline, ever. I am on this cruise though. We are booked for the Adrena Line in St. Lucia. Seems like it will be lots of fun!

My husband and I decided we are going to go on this cruise. We will be traveling with our two boys (6,4.5). We have everything lined up to book (airfare, cruise) we are just waiting on conformation that my husband can take the time off from work.

Anyways, I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to check excursions for me. I know this cruise isn't very full and we should have good luck getting the ones we want, but I want to have a back up ready if we need one. Can you also tell me the times?

St George-Best of Greneda

Bridgetown-Harrison's Cave & Scenic Drive. Monkey Encounter & Island Adventure

Basseterre- Scenic Railway and Brimstone Hill

TIA

Good news, I checked your excursions and all four of them are still available.

Best of Grenada 7:45
Harrison's Cave 8:00 9:15 10:30 11:15
Monkey Encounter 12:00
Scenic Railway 12:15 12:30

How are you able to tell that this cruise isn't very full? Judging by the multiple times available on these excursions it seems like that must be true, but I was just curious. Not that I would complain about a less than full ship! :cool1:

Thanks so much for checking. I figured we would be fine. A less full cruise makes the pool more enjoyable!

Other links seem to be setting up a mixology class session. Enjoyed one on Fantasy cruise...anyone interested?

Oh no! It looks like we missed the FE list. :(

I guess that's what we get for booking so late in the game.... :)

I hope everyone has a great trip!!!

I'm still looking for Polyluvr and Ridicolon for email addresses. Please PM me. Thank you.

If you are using Disney transportation to the airport, do you claim your luggage and schlep it through customs, or do they take it directly to the airport?

Anyone flying in on Saturday. We booked our flight for Saturday (arriving 12:50) but now I'm getting nervous. Do you think we will be okay?

We are flying in that day as well. DCL said that you don't have to be on the ship until 9:30p that night. So if you come in at 12:50p that day you should be fine.:)

Party of 2 also arriving on Saturday from Philly at 1:20. Feeling "safer" w/ time after multiple checks and also added Disney transfers from airport to ship. Can anyone estimate time needed from airport to ship beside published "20 minute taxi ride"? Why did I read "hours" some place? I chose a 3/3:30 boarding time when they were offered.

I booked this cruise on Tuesday for myself, DH, and two DS. Of course, today the price goes down, oh well nothing I can do.

Can some one explain Disney transfers to me? Why are they better than a taxi?? If I book Disney transfer from port to Airport, is it like Magical Express where you have to be 3 hours early? Our flight leaves SJU at 7:55pm, we were hoping to sightsee some that day. If I book Disney transfer do they take care of our luggage? Do we have to claim them when we disembark or do they take them straight to the airport?

Thanks for any help.

I use Planning Center: My Reservation :service from Disney Cruise Line. Go to Air/Ground Transportation box. Use phone # 18009513532 to ask your questions. :) Good Luck :)

for any of you that think the price went down. The prices did NOT go down. However, they did adjust the port fees. Some of you might have gotten an email from DCL reservation confirmation for your cruise. There is MIGHT tell you that you are getting a refund. Mine was about $30, which they will mail me a check since I pay by cash. Credit Cards will be credited the $$$ if you are due a refund.

Only 57 more days!

If anyone has any other questions, let me know.

If you paid for transportation to port thru DCL, you should put you luggage tags on your luggage at home station and they will arrive in your room. Double check when you get to the DCL counter at the airport, but that should be what happens.
