Wow ! This thread has grown sooo much ! I am experiencing the I need a vaca blues ~ here in Rottenchester NY this rain has become too much for me

We do have WDW to look forward to in the fall~ can I wish for this lousy so far summer to be over ?

I hope some of you are enjoying some wonderful weather !

Our summer is extremely hot but afternoon thunderstorms are making the humidity terrible so most days feel over 100.
You have a great 4th too.

I DID NOT DO IT! I WAS CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES!

I was "glued" to Deck 10 forward, with my camera and camcorder. My DW, DS and his girlfriend abandoned me ... leaving me to fend for my "perfect photography spot" ... but remember hearing about it. Oh well, that's why DCL brings extra paint!

FWIW, I still have a large magnet on the fridge from Eeyorelvr10 !

And about 6 crewmembers were out with long rollers in Cartagena covering the scratch!

My wife and I are on this cruise, we booked long before we found out about the upgrades to the ship. looking forward to five new ports at least for us.

Hey I use to be your neighbor.
We were both born and raised in Oregon.
Now we are in Florida but I have been through the Redwoods area many times. Such a beautiful area.

I have many cousins in California too.

Your Castaway level is Silver. Once you finish your 5th cruise you will be Gold.

You will have different perks from DCL as you advance through each level.
No kids with us too.

Hi all, we are back from Alaska with stays in Vancouver before and after 7 nights on the Wonder.

We were able to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st in Vancouver and Independence Day at home on July 4th. You can't beat that with a stick.

2nd time with DCL to Alaska and 3rd time to Vancouver. The walkability and rideability (bicycle) of Vancouver gives that city such an energy and life. Got to see a great production of an updated Hamlet (same words but set in 2013) before the cruise and fireworks after the cruise.

We too have our magnet from Eeyorelvr10 on our fridge. It reminds us of the wonderful time we had on that cruise.

We must have been on the same cruise,...'member scraping the side of the lock?

That was a nasty bump.

On the 2005 WBPC a piece of one of the locks landed in one of the window wells. At the next port, the crew removed the concrete and had it mounted. At the end of the cruise they auctioned it off.

Welcome back Bill,
Sounds like you had a great time. We havn't done Alaska yet. We talked about it for 4 years while we lived in Oregon but never did it, instead we flew back to Florida ad took DCL cruises here.
Sounds crazy to fly that far when we had a closer DCL cruise we could take but we wanted a week at WDW too.

Then we moved back to Florida and one of the first thing DH said was why didn't we do the Alaskan cruise while we were in Oregon?

I hope you will share a few photos with us.

Sailing: me ( karin) hubby ( justin) and three/four kiddies ( age 9,6,3,2 at time of sailing). It it ends up being just the three of my eldest then we have a deluxe family room booked. If we bring along the fourth, then my mom will come and add on another state room.

Question- is anyone else doing a few days in disney first? We are heading to Disney in December, and trying to decide if we should get APs for hubs and I. We are from Canada, and are thinking we may fly from Syracuse to Orlando, stay a couple of days and hit the Halloween party, and then do the cruise. Anyone else??

We will be at WDW close to this trip, but we are at WDW most weekends anyway. We were hoping a few of us could have a mini meet there before the cruise.
This can all be decided when its a bit closer.
I do know a few others have talked about going to WDW first besides you.
I just don't remember who they were right now.

Hello! Where are you from? I would like to add a location to our spreadsheet. You do not have to provide your exact town name ... but can use a large city (nearby), if desired.

WDW? When it gets a little closer to the fall, we will have more people online, and will begin to plan for possible pre-cruise meet-n-greets at WDW, as well as San Juan. Personally, my wife and I are planning to spend a few days in WDW ... then a few days in SJ prior to the cruise. We will even look at getting a group hotel discount in San Juan.

For those looking at airfare from home to San Juan ... look at a flight to MCO ... and a separate flight from MCO to San Juan. In the alternative, if you are flying on a full service airline, consider booking a flight to San Juan, with a 1-3 day layover in MCO. As it is now, flying from MCO to San Juan is about $125 on Southwest airlines (Wanna Get-Away rates).

Feel free to join us ... either move your cruise to 9/27 ... or consider a B2B!

If you are staying on the 9/20 cruise ... PLEASE tweak the cruise to get all of the little bugs out of the system, and assure us a smooth sailing. We are counting on the 9/20 cruise to work out the kinks with docking, as well as the merchants handling the excursions!
