9/27/14, Returning to the Southern Caribbean

Looks like its time for another question of the day here.
I havnt posted one for a few days in case someone else wanted to ask one.

Question of the day:

If you have been to WDW or DL what is your favorite ride or show?

If you havnt been, you probably have read about or seen some of the attractions on commercials so what ride or show do you want to try?

Answer: My favorite ride is Haunted Mansion
My favorite show: Phil Harmonic

Wow, that's HARD...I agree, my favorite show at WDW is Philharmagic....
but my favorite ride is a little more difficult....

I would have to divide it into parks...

MK...Haunted Mansion followed closely by Pirates of the Caribbean
EP...Soarin'
AK...Expedition Everest
DHS...I have 4 must do's.... Tower of Terror, Rockn' Rollercoaster, Toy Story Mania and the new Star Tours!

At Disneyland, it would be Mr Toad's Wild Ride! :thumbsup2

This is hard. Ask some easy questions. You know, questions with one word answers like yes and no.

I enjoy any ride my family is on. I enjoy the memories of each ride. Like the time Katie rode Tower-of-Terror for the first time. She was only 5 and just tall enough to pass the height limit, thanks to heel pads in her shoes. When she calmly walked off the ride we asked her if she wanted to do it again and she calmly said no. I don't want to do that ride again until I'm 11. We then knew that she was not calm she was in shock. The next year the girls would fast pass between Tower-of-Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster over and over and over.

I guess my favorite ride is the one I am heading to next.

There are so many great shows. Today my favorite is Muppets 3-D

Oh my! I'm laughing so hard right now and smiling so big! I LOVE it! "I don't want to do that ride again until I'm 11" Not "I never want to ride that ever again" Just wanting to wait until she's 11! :rotfl:

That's a good idea about the heel pads! My granddaughter is 6 now, but very short. We are going to WDW in January when she is 7and I may suggest that if she's just under the height. She's the shortest in her class and her 3 1/2 year old brother is almost as tall as she is!

Ok,
I didnt see a new question for today yet so I will try another one.

This will be easier for Bill, but its not a yes or no answer.;)

Are you or anyone in your party going to dress up for Pirate night?

My answer:

Yes, I love to dress up as a lady pirate.
DH usually wears a pirate t-shirt, and a bandana, although he has been looking for a pirate hat to wear, so we shall see.

I will answer in a complete sentence.

Yes.

Now to expound on my answer.

While Laura and I have full pirate garb, we will dress as minimalist pirates for the cruise. Most likely it will be black shirts, bandanas and or hats, along with some select pirate jewelry.

Names of adults in your group: Nic and Melissa ... We are traveling with HealyLvr. This will be our 3rd cruise. I'm interested in Facebook group too.

In order to be able to send or receive PRIVATE MESSAGES on Facebook, you must first have posted 10 separate Facebook messages. In the past, others have posted a series of small, quick public messages, in order to build up their thread-post count.

If you wish to increase your Facebook thread-post count, consider posting a thread with small tid-bits of information, such as ...
- In one post, tell us how many Disney Cruises you have been on previously, or if this your first DCL cruise.
- Once you post that message, begin another message, telling us what other cruise lines you have sailed on previously, if any.
- Once that message has posted, tell us why you selected Disney Cruise Line ...
- Next message ... tell us why you selected the Southern Caribbean itinerary\
- Next message ... ask a general question of those of us on Facebook. It could be related to sue use of Facebook, DIS, or cruising in general.

Keep posting quick messages, until you get to TEN posts ... at which point, you will be able to send and receive Facebook PRIVATE MESSAGES.

We usually skip Pirate night in order to go to Palos or Remy's as the menu is our least favorite. That said, if we do not do the above, Sulley has a few pirate tee shirts he loves and he will wear a bandanna. I had a great white pirate shirt and I would wear it with black capris, but SOMEONE who shall remain nameless (Sulley) washed it WITH the black capris and a black skirt. It's now an awful gray and nothing worked up to and including bleach. It's gone by-by.

So that's how you get out of doing the laundry. Next week I'll try white with red in hot water. That should keep me from having to do the laundry for a long time.

Back from Epcot.

Question of the day:

This is for Bill so he can answer yes or no.:lmao:

Do you like Rotational dining on Disney ?
I think they are the only cruise line that does this.

My Answer: Yes

My Answer: Yes

I like the rotational dining because it affords a varied dining experience throughout your cruise.

Without the rotational dining, patrons on the Disney ships may experience the "grass is greener" syndrome where they preceive that the individuals in the other dining venues are having a better dining experience than they are.

To sum up my answere, yes.
