9/27/09 Wonder 4 night Cruise

I went to Michael's a got a few things to help make my FE. I am NOT crafty at all, so this is going to be a NO SEW project for me.

I am definitely up for a meet & greet! We are staying at the Poly before our cruise so we will be at the terminal as soon as our bus gets us there! LOL

No, I haven't. We have ADR for the princess dinner at Epcot that night.

We ate at Kona Cafe Sept 2008. Good food. Check with Poly they have a sunset ceremony where CM's light the torches in front of the main building. We just missed it last year before our dinner reservations.

I'm still here!

My mom fell and fractured her right shoulder and right foot. She is now bedridden here at my house because she can't move on her own. I don't have much time to myself these days between her needs and the boys.

Thanks for making the list Megan (Turk). Will your dog be on your FE? I don't want to miss shopping for anyone. I like the idea of leaving things everyone. Grownups, kids, tweens, teens, whatever. Is that what everyone is comfortable with or did we decide to just do kids? I haven't read back and I'm sorry. I'm just trying to find my feet after having Mom here with us and in need of care full time.

I really hope we DO include the grown-ups!!! I hadn't thought about JoJo having her own pocket, but hey, why not! I haven't actually made the FE yet, so, yes, I'll make her a pocket!
I also have reservations to try out Kona this August...I'm looking forward to it! The menu sounded very YUMMY.

I had not heard about that ceremony. Thanks. I will definitely call. Our ressies are for 6:30pm.

61 days before we leave. I am soooo excited to stay at the Contemporary. I have wanted to stay here for 20 years now. Now that is remodeled it looks fabulous. Maybe Tinkerbell will throw pixie dust on us and give an upgrade from Garden view to MK Tower!!! Wishful thinking.

Hey I was reading what others have done with arranging Dis groups together at dinner so we all would know each other at dining instead of eating with strangers......Looks cool. Tell me what u think!!!

So, as best I figure it…. Our group thus far consists of 47 people (19 youth ages 1-15, 28 adults). 24 males and 23 females and one dog.

Turk82 - I went through the above listings in order to figure out how many boys and how many girls (both children and adults). Did I over count I found (15 (DWives), 14 (DHusbands), 11 (DBoys), and 8 (DGirls) and your puppy.
Please advise.

Also, where is everyone?? No one has been around this week.

Donna...it just shows you how good my math skills are!!! I recounted and your numbers are correct!! I don't know who I didn't count in my total!! So, yes, 15 women, 14 men, 11 boys, and 8 girls....48 people, 23 females and 25 males (I think...but here I go trying to do math again!!!)

I have no idea where people have been this week...I've been wondering the same thing! I got my cruise packet in the mail today!! So exciting!

My mother got a tiny little 9-week-old Shih Tzu yesterday (so cute!) and my guide, Jolene, has been nothing but mopey since!! She won't hardly even look at her! I think she's afraid of being replaced by this little 3-pound puppy! Doggie emotions are so funny!

I've been busy trying to make my FEs. With no luck.
I bought these little bags that I "thought" were cotton, so when I went to iron on my transfer, they melted. OOPS!
So I had to make little pouches.

Will try to get them finished this week. We'll see! LOL

No harm no fowl. I had to use my fingers and toes for that one . I agree about your pup. We have a 1 1/2 yr old Cocker, Mickey, who much to my daughter's dismay; thinks he is my son.

Is it too late to join your group? We will be sailing with you. It is me (Jane), my husband (Greg) and our 2 boys ages 10 (Ben) and 6 (Josh). We are from outside of Pittsburgh. Go Steelers! I tried to use tote bags, but they melted when I tried to transfer the iron-on.
So I had to buy fabric and make the pockets.

Nice work !! Where did you find the Mickey logo iron-ons, how did you get the font, where did you find the mickey head ends? I still need to make my FE.

The mickey logo was made by someone from the Creative Disigns board. I just printed them out on iron on transfer paper.

The mickey head ends I made out of balls from the craft store that fit on the end of the dowel rods. Then I cut out little ears and glued them on (cut off a little wooden bear from the craft store)

You're FE is so nice!! What a cute idea. We're also booked in a Cat 12.
Can't wait. We're spending a few days at Disney World after the cruise.
AS Sports with free dining. We'll probably do MNSSHP and Hollywood Studios ( so DS and DD could try to be jedis - they're major Star Wars fanatics)
We have late dining but hoping to get that changed.

What is the Creative Disigns board? How do I find it? How does it work?
