For those of you who may be wondering if this kind of group is worth your time - we did this on our last Disney Cruise. After getting to know some people through this board and meeting them before we set sail (COME TO OUR 3pm meeting!) we enjoyed the cruise so much more. We would go into the theater and see people from our group and woud sit with them. We would be trying to find a seat on the Castaway Cay tram and there were our DisBoard buddies waving us over. You can find a walking / jogging buddy or a friend to work out with. Everywhere we went we saw people from our group. We met at least 6 people that we still stay in touch with (this was 2 years ago now), have arranged meetings at WDW to see them and have made close / dear friends with another family that we see every chance we get (and they are on this cruise!). We are hanging around at WDW after the cruise and will have dinner with two of our friends that we haven't seen since that cruise who will be down from Michigan.
I think making DisBoard friends and meeting up with them early in the trip makes an incredible vacation even better. I'm looking forward to meeting you all on the 26th (maybe some of you on the 25th at the Radisson?).
One of those meetings was a trip down to MMVSHP last year where we met 6 other DIS friends and shared the party experience with them! The DIS board and that experience on the last cruise have really been good to us! There is another couple from that trip (and one of 'em is a MOD on the baords) that we haven't gotten to see again, but I SOOOO want to! We do chat on Fb every now and then. We did have a pre-cruise meet and a pre-cruise dinner, so at the on board pre-cruise meet, we had actually seen a lot of the folks three times already. But it's the memories we made in the time that we spent with those folks that have made us understand how much this board adds to the whole cruise experience. I am excited about meeting all of you, and I hope we all come back from the cruise feeling the time here as added to the trip!
I am hoping to watch the Giants game on Sunday (which ironically are playing the Titans!!) but not sure if that will be possible. I am hoping to see the Colts game, but not sure if they will be showing that one either. I will definitely be at the Monday night game "gathering" if there is one just to see a game. I have no pull towards Gran Bay or Chicago, but I am pretty sure I know ONE PERSON that will be there cheering on.....Da Bears

THANKS MACK
Hmmm - I am not sure 4 hours of football will make me feel I got my money's worth on a cruise, but it is really cool that you can watch a live game out in the middle of the ocean!
