lol, i was reading someone's TR earlier and they took a softsided cooler onboard, and were on deck 9 after lunch with a cold beer!
might be tempted to do this too......

I have a softsided cooler that we are bringing...so if you want cold beer, you can bring it to me at ohanas or something and I can throw it in there. I'll keep it on ice until we leave for the port, and it stays cold for a long time in there!! It's big, so I don't need all the space!!

Jen, sorry to bug you with a work question, but do you know what kind of a discount AAA members usually get on Universal Tickets? I have to buy mine soon!

i'm thinking of bringing one over from here for gary. gotta try and keep the cruise bill as low as possible this time. i think we might take a side trip to the grocery store on the way to the port and stock up on beer....

I think the tickets are $97 for an Unlimited Admission ticket if you buy them in office. Check with your local AAA cause their prices may be different. Maybe they'll give us free tickets and I can leave them hidden somewhere in Universal for you!

Heres our house we have painted the shutters, screen door, and front door black i think it looks good:

this is our backyard/pasture:

our livingroom + our FREE furniture

our kitchen

laundry room and our new appliances

the utility room next to the laundry room with the floor that i tiled(peel and stick)

dining room(it isnt that YELLOW)

the master bedroom ceiling fan that greg put in on his own

and my wonderful self putting tile down in the bathroom which i finished and i painted the bathroom after this

Now i can move in everything that needed to be done for me to move in is done so next week i will start to move in

its cerby's birthday day, he's 5 today, i cant believe that its been just under 5 years since we got him. he's asleep on the floor at the mo, he's had a bath so he's all clean and fluffy for when we go up to scotland tomorrow, so he's probably sulking right now!!

I saw District 9 last night. That movie was CRAZY! I really liked it though. It was different from a lot of the sci-fi stuff that comes out. Some parts of it were pretty gross though, I have to say. But it was good!

Hi everyone!

I'm late to the game here--we had planned a regular WDW trip (which we do basically every year now) for the 24th-28th, but then decided recently to change our plans and do the cruise and then just one night at Bay Lake Towers (which I'm excited about, too, but I'm super-excited about the cruise!).

This will be our first cruise, and it will be me, my husband, and our 3 1/2 year old little boy, Fletcher. He and I have been watching some of the Cruise Planning DVD, so we're both getting really psyched!

Anyhow, I couldn't read through all the posts here (there are a ton!) but I wanted to introduce myself and say hello!

My name is Mary, and this will be mine & DH's first cruise as well!! We are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary.

I'm also staying at BLT before the cruise, but on the 20th, before I move over to Universal for a work conference until Thursday.

We have a few meets going on before the cruise, and a fish extender exchange, but i'm sure Karen will fill you in on that (she always does!!).

Okay, everyone, i'm going nuts. I'm not so worried about the stateroom number anymore, because I know that will come, but I REALLY want to know my score from my test. Luckily, there are message boards out there for people taking the CPA...so there are other participating in this madness. It's like a support group for people waiting for their CPA scores!!

Happy Birthday, Cerby!! Him and Minnie are the same age, she just turned 5 last month!! She says happy birthday too "Woof Woof"!!

Hi Erica! Welcome to our chatty little thread here on the DIS! My name is Jen and I'll be sailing with my boyfriend Joe. It's not our first cruise but it's our first Disney cruise! We'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge prior to the cruise and at Animal Kingdom Lodge for a couple of nights post-cruise. Karen will fill you in on all the happenings for the FE as well as the meets. She's great at that.

Mary, when should you be getting the results? How long does it take?

The house looks good, Lainey! We just finished putting down the wood laminate in our living room. I'll post pics of that tonight. I kind of laughed at the yellow because I thought it was like Mickey's shoes! (I wasn't mean laughing, just like...hmm...Disney! Cool!)

No room number for us yet, either. But I AM happy to report that I am now 196.4 pounds...I've lost 13.6 pounds since I complained to you guys that I wanted to lose weight! And 2 inches off of my hips, too!

Target is currently selling beach pails for $1 in their $1 section. Maybe we could get some of those and hang those off of the fish...hahaaaaaa.

Welcome Erica! We have a son that will be turning 3 on our Disney trip! His name is Kaleb. You'll have to join us for the cruise get together on sail day!

Things are CRAZY here at work. I work for a University and classes start next week, so this is the busiest time of the year for me, getting everything ready. I guess the good thing about it is that is keeps me from going crazy waiting for vacation... LOL

Lord, I haven't made my FE, nor my FE gifts (though I know what I'm making and it won't take too long...)

Lainey, the house looks great! A first home is always fun, though in our case a lot of work! LOL... we did a lot of renovation on our first house, but it paid off when we sold it and bought our current home.

Come on DCL!!! I need my room assignment!!! LOL
