Alcohol + pictures = fun memories! :rotfl: So long as the camera doesn't drop overboard.

I just got a surprise in my paycheck. We get paid commission quarterly and I got about a $100 more than I was expecting! That's going right into my Disney fund.

Karen, you don't need photopass for the rides. You take a picture of that photo with your own camera. Joe and I do it all the time ;)

So Lainey are you in for the photopass definitely? I told Stacy I wanted in. Good luck house hunting! Joe and I are going apartment hunting in a couple months. Houses in NJ are WAY too expensive.

Yes, Lainey is in! So we have 5 people now! If you 5 don't mind, would you PM me your email addresses? It would make it a bit easier to coordinate via email than PMs.

Thanks!
Stacy

Since the camera technically isnt mine (its my moms camera that she doesn't like sony cybershot) i am hoping that i dont drop it on the cruise it can handle the hard surfaces but i dont think it could recover from water damage. :rotfl:
I will be dragging greg to as many photopass locations as possible since he hasnt been since he was 3 or 4 (plus our honeymoon) i want to have alot of pictures.

What's this photopass thing about? You can order the disk of all your pictures taken on photopass for a lower price than it would cost for individual prints?

PM Stacy (futureDIS). She'll give you all the details. Basically, she's going to pre-order a photopass cd and we're going to link our individual cards to it and she's going to make us copies of the cd.

yay, $20 is so much more attractive than having to pay $99!!

its so cool!! this'll be the first time that we'll actually be getting the cd, last 2 times we've had the photos taken but not bought any!!
i'm so glad its the weekend, looking forward to a lie in tomorrow morning!

We've never bought the cd either. We do the same thing you do: have pictures taken, view them online but never buy! I have a certificate for a free 5x7 in our vacation package so I will be using that to get at least one of the photos!

We're planning a day at Typhoon Lagoon (hopefully) and last time I was there, they took your picture coming down the slide and threw a photopass bracelet in the pool so you could get it. I hope they do that again! Those pictures came out cute cause we'd always be laughing.

I checked the photopass website and it says the CD is the same price regardless of the number of photos. Last trip Bob and I had 103 pictures (6 day trip) and most didn't even have any characters in them. Here are a few of my favorites

My Niece, Erin, at Disneyland on one of our "girls only" trips. The photopass guy had her cracking up, so she covered her face laughing.

Anyway at my part-time job I work with Kodak photo processing, and when we do a disc, and the pictures were taken with a high resolution camera or an HD camera, we can only get 250 to fit. I am picture happy, so I am wondering if we will end up with more than one disc. I would hate for them to Sacrfice the quality of the pictures just to make them all fit on one disc.

from what i've heard they'll charge you for one cd, but if they have to send ten out, its still the same price. there's no limit to how many you can take/get put on a cd!
which is great, because with 5 of us sharing one cd, i get the idea that there's going to be a LOT of photos!!

hows everyone's day/week been? i spent the entire work day writing letters, i'm way behind on processing our invoices, but i think i'm up to date with my credit control so i can concentrate on the purchase ledger next week!
when i started my job at the start of the year, i was just doing credit control. now i'm doing purchase ledger, and in a couple of months i'm getting taught payroll too! lol, i need a payrise! plus we're taking over 2 more radio stations, so it almost doubles my credit control workload!!

Nice pictures!

I say we have a contest. Who can get the most photopass pictures? My money is on Donna because she got 103 in a 6 day trip!!! Wowza! That's 17 photopass pics a day!

My day has been great! Got a commission check for a lot more than I thought I would and then a client I had previously helped came in and told me he wanted to treat me to lunch and handed me $20! :thumbsup2

cor this could get so competitive!
not sure how many photopass ones i could get but i did manage to take 2100 photos in 3 weeks last year!

:scared1: Wow!

I am going to have to go picture crazy to keep up with all of you. I'm usually like 'there's too many people around, I'll take the picture later' and then never get around to it. Not this trip!!

Bob and I hired a photographer to take pictures of us on the beach in Honolulu, it was $125 for 90 minutes, we got the disc and a printed photo album of the pictures. The funny thing is everyone that sees them thinks we had them taken at the Poly.

I think the last one gives it away because you can see Diamond Head in the background, not the castle. Although we were channeling our inner Disney, our clothes are Mickey and Minnie Aloha Wear, LOL

I take loads of pictures on vacation, with digital it is not hard to do, because you don't have to print them!

Awesome pictures! I would love to go to Hawaii one day.

I hated my old camera, the pictures never came out great. Always dark and the battery would drain quick. I got a new one for Christmas and ended up taking over 40 pictures at the Yankee game Wednesday night plus video so....I plan on getting 1 or 2 memory cards for Disney. I plan on taking lots and lots of pictures.

gary took his laptop for work last year so i just downloaded my photos every night. this time he's not sure if he's taking it, but i've found out i can buy 1gb SD cards (my camera doesnt take the high capacity ones) for about £3.50 each. go planning on buying 6 more, i took over 7gb worth of photos last year!
i think i'm subconsiously making up for our honeymoon/wedding lack of photos.... (i took loads of photos but i didnt back them up and lost my camera in vegas :( so last year i more than made up for it by taking so many photos. i took over 500 in the first 3 days alone!)

my old boss has an amazing camera, it has a 10x zoom, its so good! but its about £200 and i cant afford it!! lol

Since we're going to be staying at POR and WL for the first time, I'm sure I'll be taking a lot of photos there as well as the usual stuff in the parks. Plus lots at MNSSHP. And you're going to have to surgically remove the camera from my hand during the cruise.
