9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

we werent planning on staying late either. Thank you Jen greg and i would really appreciate it. i think i was gonna make our reservations for 5:30 or 6 for le cellier that night so we can spend time at jellyrolls with everyone and still leave at a descent time since we need to get our "crap" packed for the cruise i think we are gonna use on suit case for the dirty clothes from the resort stay and the other for our cruise clothes so we only have to deal with getting clothes out of one for the cruise half and just shove the other one in the closet.

I think Jellyrolls opens at 7 so maybe we could all meet there around 8-ish? I'll probably stay for a couple of hours, if that's ok with you Lainey. I've never been there and I've always wanted to make a trip there. Plus, I love being on the Boardwalk at night! Maybe Joe and I will go to Beaches & Cream for dinner...

depending on when we get done with dinner we may have to suffer the pain and get some ice cream at beaches and cream but def not the kitchen sink Yeah i was planning on a couple of hours i have never been there i have been to the boardwalk but that was i think when i was a junior in high school and i cant remember it. Plus greg hasn't been to the world since he was 3 so everything is new to him.

That time would be perfect because we're planning on going to AK that day and just coming back to POR and hanging out for awhile and enjoying the pool!

its looking like the night before we all leave for the cruise but not exactly sure yet as soon as they post the park times for that week we should all know when we can do jellyrolls. Well greg finaly got his avatar straightened out or really i got his avatar fixed he wanted to use a picture of us but it kept telling him it was too big but i got it fixed so his picture is our first picture together it is us on the 4wheeler we def. look like we are from Ga.

If everyone is going to Epcot that day, i'm sure it will close at 9. I'll just be driving over, so let me know on the time. If it opens at 7, we should probably get there not too far after that, because the tables go quickly from what I understand. And also, I will check with my friend that works at Disney, because one or two nights a week are official or unofficial CM nights, and those nights are very busy. I'll email her and let you know!

So since it is Administrative Professionals day, all of the managers buy lunch for the whole department!! Yum. We got beef sandwhiches, chopped salad, mostocholi, and pie!! Tasty lunch!!

Mary - The CM nights are Sunday and Tuesdays, so we're in the clear for that. I looked it up yesterday so it's funny that you brought it up. I won't be at Epcot that day, I'll be at AK so we'll head over earlier to grab dinner and get a table at Jellyrolls.

Lainey - If we save a couple tables, I'll be sure to say 'Seat's taken!' ala Forrest Gump for Greg's benefit!

Yes, Jellyroll's the night before the cruise! I thought you had your mind made up about BWV?

i will get him to post jen the friend request was actually from me i sent it from gregs and mine both. But he wanted me to add yall as friends. It looks like that is the night we are shooting for greg and i will be coming from epcot and i think jen said they are doing AK. Greg and i should be done with dinner by 7pm and over at jellyrolls by 8

Hi Everybody!
Sorry I have been M.I.A. for so long, I have been very busy here at work...and my computer at home decided to die on me. As luck would have it we got new laptops here at work and my boss let us buy our old desktops...so now I will be up and running at home again!

Yesterday I went to the Disney Keys to Excellence program at Illinois Wesleyan. Wow what a great experience...we got to go through some of the Traditions class that Cast Members participate in when they are in training. It was a great experience, lots of fun and great to get an idea of how the Disney Company is operated.

My DH has suddenly really gotten into the FE exchange...we have two of the three days done. I love it when he get's excited about planning...we are both like 12 year olds stuck in 48 year old bodies.

Anything new and exciting that I should know about?

i dont think much is new, but we all seem to agree on a meet up at jellyrolls the night before the cruise.

i did decide against the night at BWV, but now we've decided thats the night we're going to jellyrolls, it seems a nice idea to stay there. i'm soooo indecisive, thats my problem!

I just got my FE in the mail it is so cute i will post a picture of it when i get a chance. I am gonna see if my friend can embroider our names on it i think it would be cute. And yet again my mom gave me an idea for the gifts to get all of yall(since i am doing a goodie bag for each cabin i can have more than one) so i need to know the names of all the people in the cabins participating well all except for mary, jen, and karen i already know everyone in yalls cabins. if there are more than 2 maybe just the family name b/c i don't think i can fit more than 2 name on the gift.

We were going to arrive in Orlando the morning of the cruise, but I was in a complete panic that we would end up not being able to get to port in time...so I changed our arrival to the 23rd. We get in at 6 pm, but will be staying on I-Drive for the night. DH wanted to be close to a Sizzler, with all of the wonderful food at Disney, he wants Malibu Chicken at the Sizzler...and since Sizzler hasn't been in Illinois for at least 10 years (probably more) I decided to grant his wish. We did rent a car so we can drive to Cape Canaveral so if maybe we can head over to Jellyrolls...if I can drag him away from Sizzler and the hotel's hot tub!

yeah the more the merrier! i dont think its going to be a late night as i think everyone wants to get an earlyish night for the cruise. me and gary may end up making a night of it, but we'll see!

for the people in the fe that have more than 2 people in the cabin i think i will use there family name on their gift so i will need last names for them. And for the cabins that have kids their goodie bags are gonna have some different stuff in them or i might make a goodie bag for just the kids for each cabin that has kids in them and one goodie bag for the adults in those cabins i will decide as the day gets closer.

They still have Sizzlers in the country?? They have been long gone in Jersey for years. At least around my neck of the woods anyway.

Lainey - Did you think the FE was going to be bigger? I'm not disappointed with mine at all but it seems kind of small, no? Oh I meant to tell you, I had somebody come in today that was traveling to Dallas, GA!
