I've sailed with Royal Caribbean before. There's so much to do on those ships! I was on Explorer of the Seas and we mini-golfed, rollerbladed, and ice skated in the course of a day. It was insane. They also had a large rock climbing wall but it was super crowded so we didn't do it. I know a few of their ships have the Flo-Rider on them too.

its wierd but cruises have never really appealed to me other than the disney ones. i'm sure i'd enjoy it, but i've not really got any desire to go on a non disney cruise.

Cruises are what you make of them. But I'm sure I'll feel the same way you do after I've been on DCL!

its just that i'd never really considered cruising before, then i heard about DCL and thought yay! but i just dont really fancy another cruise that isnt DCL!
i think i like my disney too much to give it up so easily! :)

I've been on NCL and RCCL. Since I've never sailed with DCL, I don't really have a comparison yet. RCCL was amazing though. If DCL tops that, then...wow.

I had to temporarily leave the FB group. My best friend texted me saying, "It's hard to keep your wedding date a secret when you join a Facebook group for your cruise." I said, "Oh no!!! Haha..." We're not telling most people about our wedding date for another month or so, so I'll rejoin then. :)

hey yall sorry i haven't been on all day Greg and I went to the Tux place next to davids bridal to go a head and get all of the rentals done and all of the stuff in the computer so that all of his groomsmen can go ahead and get their tux's ordered. He hated it but he is a guy so trying on clothes is not one of his favorite things to do. Karen if you need ride buddies greg and i can meet you at one of the parks we ride everything well except for mission space at Epcot since my brothers rode it and complained of neck pain and they ride crazier stuff than i do so i figured if it hurt them then it would kill me. Greg thinks im crazy b/c i always hold my hands up on rollercoasters and on TOT i told him it makes the ride more fun.

the daft thing about gary and rides is that he wont go on anything too fast, or where he feels like he's not in control, but he loves mission space and test track!?!?!?!? try figure out that logic! ;)

I don't go on Mission Space either. I went on that ride a couple of times and came off feeling completely thrown. I was staggering as I was trying to walk. Usually rides don't effect me like that but that one...yeah, don't like it much. I'm not a big fan of Stitch's Great Escape either just cause that ride is a little lame to me! Not to mention gross.

Lainey, Joe goes on ToT but he gets so nervous about it. Let's go on it together and put our hands up and get the picture! :rotfl: I made Joe put his arms up on Splash Mountain and he looks terrified!!

Greg and I went to dollywood and he was freaked out when i put my hands up i guess he thought i might fly out of the seat i told him yeah maybe if i was lighter. :lmao: Yeah Jen we def have to ride it and get a pic. and and my family did that we were all in the front row so it was a great picture except they were holding us there for quite a while so we were about to put our hands down when it dropped and we are all smiling in the picture(well everyone except for my dad) I like the Stitch ride well i like it better than what they had there before it my little brother got terrified by the ride that was there before it.
Gregs birthday is coming up in a few weeks and i have no clue what to get him his gift to me was paying off something on our disney honeymoon registry which was great now the DCL gratuities are coming off the gift card. :cool1:

Definitely! Let's plan on meeting at one of the thrill rides. :thumbsup2 ToT and TT are my favorites. I don't think I'd put my hands up on TT though. I know I go that fast everyday in a car but I don't accelerate quite like that!!

Hmmmm....what do do for Greg? :scratchin Is he a sports fan? Maybe you can get him tickets to a baseball game? Joe always gets me hockey tickets for my bday cause it falls around opening night. Or do you want it to be something wedding/honeymoon related?

no clue he told me not to get him anything until my new job is final and he knows that i am getting a normal paycheck but it makes me feel bad and of course he said that "I have you so what could i possibly get for my birthday that would be better than you?" which is sweet and makes me feel good but i still want to get him something maybe something to wear on the cruise or at disney. i am usually good at gifts but when it comes to greg i am LOST!! Greg likes nascar and those are TOOO much money and the race isnt near here anytime soon. And most of our other teams here SUCK!! Maybe that is why i am a Steelers Fan:rotfl::rotfl:

Aw, that is sweet of him to say. You could create him something to wear while you're on vacation. They have a lot of character shirts/hats that you can customize on the disney shopping website. I got Joe a shirt for his birthday that had a picture of Wall-E on it and I customized it to say Jo-E. He loved it!

i may get him one of the POC shirts to wear on the cruise for the deck party. Well i have to go finish laundry and get dressed my brothers bday party is tommorrow so i have to go get him a gift he wants these gloves that have the Wolverine claws in them i can just see it now me getting hit with them as soon as he puts them on i am a magnet for getting hit by my brother and for falling and running into stuff i still for the life of me can't remember what happend after i ran into a pole getting off the King Kong Ride @ universal all i remember is waking up the next morning in the hotel with a really bad headache and the only thing i remembered was hitting the pole and i still don't know what else we did that day.
But nothing has happened to me at disney and i plan to keep it that way i will talk to you later jen have a good day hopefully it is prettier in Jersey than it is here in Ga we had one pretty day and now we are back to rain i think we got Seattles weather or maybe Forks :rotfl: i am such a DORK!! Well gotta run have a good day at work i will be back on later tonight.

I have a Jack Sparrow shirt that I'm planning to wear to the deck party. :) You walked into a pole after the King Kong ride?? Watch out for those poles, Lainey. They just sneak up on you. :rotfl: I've seen that Wolverine glove. It looks really cool, I have to admit. Wolverine is badass.

Have a good day!! It's pretty dreary here actually. I'm sure it's going to rain any second...

how did you run into a pole? you'll have to tell us more info on that!!!!
count me in for the ride photo meet, gary can hold our stuff while we ride!! ;) i know most people say they hate the stitch ride, but we love it! i dont remember much of the previous alien ride, and we like the lilo and stitch films, so we go on great escape loads of times! plus i think we'll be in tomorrowland a lot during free dining as he loves the cream cheese pretzels and they're apparently included as a snack credit!
me and gary have the same problem trying to decide what to get each other for birthdays, i normally get him a xbox game and something else, as we've got most things we actually want. previous presents to each other have included a shark dive and a big tv. we end up getting each other wierd stuff. garys birthday was a couple of weeks ago so we're going to the zoo next week and he's going to go in the enclosure and feed the lemurs. :)
ps: started buying stuff for my FE today!!

Ok so what ride do we want the photo on? We have all these meets lined up, it's great!

Cream cheese pretzels? I have to look for these next time I go! I love tomorrowland but Stitch isn't a must see for us. We did it once and I wasn't crazy about it and Joe didn't pull his harness down far enough so he missed out on pretty much everything. :rotfl: We end up going on Buzz Lightyear like 5 times during the course of our stay. We got stuck on it once and I got a ridiculously high score! I'm bummed that Space Mountain will be closed while we're there. :guilty:

:woohoo: Let the FE buying commence!

gary loves mission space too, i go on it, but when we goes back on for the third or fourth time in a day i have to call it a day and wait outside, it hurts my neck a bit, so i stay out!
i'm not keen on cream cheese so i dont have them but gary loves them, he kept going on about pretzels that had the cheese inside but we couldnt remember where he got it from, but then we stumbled on it when we went to get a drink. think he intends using up all his snack credits on pretzels and kaki gori's from the japan pavilion!
i've been trawling through the DVC board for the last hour or so, we get back from the cruise on sunday 27th but we dont leave the USA til the 28th, the original plan was to get a room for the night at a value (we wanted to stay at the AKL club level again but couldnt afford it) for £52 (about $73) but suddenly remembered this morning that there's DVC club level rooms at AKV. i need 13 DVC points for the night's stay club level, and they're currently renting for about $10 a point, so as long as there's availability (i've PM'd a few people) i've got a choice between ASM for $73, or AKL for $130..... mmmm, wonder which one i'll choose!! :) :rotfl:

ps: i dont mind which ride!
