9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

All we have anywhere near our driveway are pine trees I HATE THEM!! (they aren't the pretty pine trees they are the retarded looking ones that fall over constantly. I made another t-shirt for my honeymoon i am gonna post it when once i have taken a picture of it all it says is Honeymoon '09 in navy blue letters and outlined in black. Everyone in my family has asked me how i found a shirt with honeymoon '09 on it they can't believe that I made it. My DFi also likes it he likes the other ones also but he really likes this one he thinks that the other ones are alittle bit too girly i told him that since he will be married when he wears them that i doubt anyone will think he is girly. I finally ordered my birth certificate today so i will be able to get my passport information in pretty soon. That is one less thing for me to worry about.

Hey guys! I am going through major disboard withdrawals here! I didn't even hear about the MNSSHP dates, and usually I am super Disney expert girl! I am in Jacksonville now at my conference, which keeps me up late and then early mornings. But tonight one of the exhibitors had a cocktail reception with free martinis, now that was fun! My sister and I may be going to a Halloween party that same week as the 22nd, maybe we will see you there! I am totally not looking forward to going home to Chicago after 2 weeks in Florida...I hate winter!

Winter will be over soon! I hope. I don't want to get a freak snow storm in April. March started out with a storm and I'm hoping that was it for the season. I'm excited for summer but I'm hoping that will fly by and before I know it, it'll be Labor Day and I can say 'OMG, I'm going to Disney in 2 weeks!'

It doesn't help that I work in a TA and I have 3 different familes going to Disney in April & May. I keep getting in documents for everyone. I want to go with them!

It has been in the 70's all week here which is nice but they are saying we are supposed to have another cold snap before the month is out which sucks but that will give me more time to buy summer clothes. I am gonna post the pictures of those shirts but i have to do it on my DM computer b/c i have a sony cybershot and it uses a duo memory stick and with the adaptor it still wont fit in my laptop. Our cruise is almost paid off Welcome back Mary!!!!!

Yeah we now owe 1,096 on it and my DFi already has the money to pay it off but he wants to get bonus points on his disney credit card by paying for a disney trip with it. so after he pays off the next bill we will be all paid off. Now his brother just has to pay for our excursion which is on our honeymoon registry. For my birthday my DSisInLaw paid on my disney registry so it looks like we will have everything on the list we wanted b/c i know of atleast 4 or 5 people that are paying on it for our wedding. And i found out that the bus too the port will pick us up at the resort at 11:30 so we will be able to eat breakfast at the Poly b4 we leave b/c i want to try the tonga toast i know alot of people say it is too sweet for breakfast but i probably wont be able to stay there again so i am splurging(however we will be ordering some normal breakfast things with the toast incase we don't like it)

We owe $520 on our cruise. I can't wait til that baby says $0! I keep getting client's documents in for their trips; I can't wait til it's my own!

I've heard of the tonga toast before, seen the name throughout the boards, but what exactly is it? Since we have our car, I think we're going to try to get to the port between 10-11. I want to spend as much time on the ship as possible and I read it's best to get there before the buses do. I can welcome you on the ship

It is kinda like french toast but it is HUGE!!! and it is filled with bananas and i think some kind of syrup and it is covered in cinnamon and sugar and comes with your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. There is generally not an in between on this thing you either like it or you hate it. So we will see i figure it is worth trying we are also gonna have the Lapu Lapu drinks that come in a pineapple. I can't wait til our stuff comes in. I asked a guy that did the land&sea trip and stayed at the poly he said that we should be on the ship no later than 12:45pm maybe 1pm but we go straight on the ship when we get there just listen for the name McFall if you happen to be around tritons at that time. I just got our dvd camcorder in today i was shocked i ordered it tuesday from walmart.com and i already got it. We got a sony handycam my mom has a canon dvd camcorder and they hated it so that helped me pick which one we got.

Ok the bananas killed it for me. Not a fan. But my DBf loves bananas so he may want to try it. Maybe we'll stop by there for breakfast one of the days we're down.

yeah my DFi prob. wont eat it either but i like bananas but i dont want it for my whole meal thats why we are gonna get regular breakfast platters at Captian Cooks and one tonga toast. The serve it only at Captain Cooks and Kona Cafe (which you need to have reservations for it) I'm fixing to go downstairs and upload the shirt pictures in a minute so you and mary can see them.

I saw a shirt I want to get on the Disney site for me & my DBf. It's a picture of the state of Florida with Donald's face on it and it says Donald's Annual Florida Road Trip to Orlando. You can customize it so I'm going to put '09 on the back and put our names above that.

Where is everybody? You ladies have been very quiet!

The fact that the park hours haven't been released yet is driving me crazy. I'm trying to figure out which parks we're going to on what days but I can't figure out DHS because they only have Fantasmic on certain nights now. There doesn't seem to be a patern to it! And some nights when they have Fantasmic, they don't have Block Party Bash and vice versa. What's the deal??

I most definitely know we are going to go to Kona Cafe one morning. I told my DBf about the Tonga Toast and he really wants to go there now! Since we're driving to the port, I thought maybe the morning of the cruise. That way I can swing by the Poly and then leave for the ship from there.

As for the other ADRs....yeah, I have no idea until I figure out what park we're going to on what days!

Hey Girls! I am back at work now, fun fun!! LOL

We only owe like $280 on our cruise, because we are in a 12 so it is very cheap!! I do love that low balance though!! Your shirts are very cute Lainey, we will keep an eye out for you!!

So, I just found out that my work will give you a pretty good bonus for passing the CPA exam...so that is what I have started working on. So much information to go over!! By the time we go on our cruise, I should have taken my first two sections. Now I just have tons of studying to do!!!

I haven't looked up the schedules yet...I will have to get on that. Usually I am so much more advanced with my planning by now!!

Hey Jen and Mary I have been really busy sorry i haven't written anything lately. Jen me and greg are doing captain cooks the day we leave for the port since they also do the tonga toast and i know that the bus picks us up at 11:30 and we have to be in the lobby by 11:10 no later than that so we are gonna go to capt. cooks since it takes less time. Right now i have looked at the past few months of HS schedule about Fantasmic and it seems that they do it on the last 2 sundays of every month and if that remains the same then they will have it the sunday that we get there. Most of my ADRS are chosen but if they change the day that they are gonna do fantasmic they will change well all of them except for CRT since we are doing MNSSHP that night we will already be there so that day is set on my one ADR which is nice that i atleast know one day for sure. Thank you mary i am very proud of my shirts i was so amazed when my DFi said that he had no problem wearing them and that he was looking forward to wearing them.

well then dont look at the disney food pics posts they will really make you hungry. Yeah mary good luck on the CPA exams my mom took them but that was when i was i think 7 or 8 so that was a WHILE ago. Our cruise will be paid off as soon as My DFi payment on his disney Credit card goes through which i think was last night but i can't remember. Congrats on paying yours off jen. I am so dang tired i have been roped into makeing a diaper wreath for my friends baby shower this saturday and a photograph calendar for my great great aunts 90th birthday party next saturday and no one in my family except my aunt has sent me pictures for the calendar so i am a tiny bit stressed about it bc they only gave me 2 weeks to finish the calendar and they usually take me at least 3 weeks to get them the way that i want them oh well we will see hopefully i will have it done.

yeah it is a counter service but they have added a new way to order your food it is a touch screen i cant remember where i found the picture but it may have been on the Poly resort pic board. And they have the tonga toast and some breakfast platters on the picture it looks cool they gave the plave an update i think a year or so ago after they did the rooms(which needed it)

I think I've seen those touch screens at Pecos Bill's. They were just starting out with those when I was there last. Maybe we'll stop in Captain Cooks instead since it'll be a little bit quicker and from what you tell me, they have the same kind of stuff. The DBf won't care. He'll go along with whatever as long as he gets the tonga toast since he really wants it now.

Are you the arts and crafts person in your family Lainey? It sounds like it!
