I'm not sure how my Mondays are always loaded with stuff to do, but that's ok! At least I get a shot at it!!

This week is organizing the master bedroom as part of the Christmas plan so it means that I have more on my lists than ever. But it is working on getting my house clean little by little.

load cutter program to computer
bathrooms- sinks/toilets
put gift materials into individual bags for Christmas gifts- that way I can take them with me and work on them as Ihave time

Wish we had a fall break too...

Quiet day so far-laundry, bills, etc. Went to visit BIL Sat & Sun-he got out of the hospital last night. Going to get his port put in for the chemo tomorrow and start it on Thursday. His DD is doing ok, she was SO happy to see him this weekend. Now that he's home we can go more often.

Monday morning! (well, for a little while longer, anyway!)

DD is home with the same cold we've now swapped among everyone. Marvy...
Unpack all cropping stuff from our fab 3-day crop - (I came in last night and dumped it everywhere!) - BUT I DID 37 PAGES!!! This doubles my lifetime output...practically true! It feels so good to work on my own stuff, finally, and be done with swaps.

Put away clothes - DH did laundry over the weekend, while I was out, but it isn't away yet
Start tackling DS's closet - eek!
Homework supervision
Dinner - pasta & salad
Book group tonight - we read "Peony in Love" - a good and interesting book that I probably would never have picked up on my own.

Good Morning...

Had a great morning with Holly and Jennifer yesterday.

Tons to do today. Someone...(not me) accidently left the main freezer unpluggled for a few days and discovered it yesterday...Fortunately, he tells me, most of what defrosted was expired anyway (hmmm - ok honey - whatever makes you feel better).

Painters are still here working on the house. Hopefully they will start with the tile in the bathroom soon. Randy has most of the carpet runner down - 2 flights of stairs down and 1 to go.

I am working on the guest list, catering numbers and wording of the invite for Randy's Mom's Services. So much to do...

I spent most of the weekend touching up all of the woodwork in the back parlour with the Old English dark oil finish fix love: that stuff - works wonders - this is all the original 135 year old moldings!) Today I'm going to do the dining room.

Ok - Off to Trader Joe's and maybe Panera for lunch. I have the bean home with me today - she was feeling a little off this morning so she stayed home from school.

took some side trips to the thrift stores today looking for halloween type stuff for the library party. was hoping the overalls I got would fit tom but thinking L's gonna get them. found a gorgeous indian type leather over lay thingy don't know why but it jumped in my basket. still looking for a tv for e's room that I don't have to get the converter for and small tvs are hard to come by.

also got L 2 wind pants that he LOVES for 2 bucks each!!! and a bag for scrapping don't know why or what to put in it but for 2.75 nice and sturdy why not

Hope all our sickies are feeling better this afternoon.
DB glad to hear he's home.

The first time I was in the south at Halloween time was weird for me. I am used to leaves off the trees, I couldn't get used to green trees with Halloween decorations.
