A quick question about the FE gifts, Do we Identify ourselves when we leave them or are they just hung on the door. Also is there anything that is frowned upon in terms of gifts?

Hey there. If you want to leave your names on the gifts you can. Or if you prefer not to, that's ok too. Hmm...in terms of gifts. As long as its not anything that is too controversial, it could be ok. In the past, I've gotten chocolate, candy, stickers, toys for the kids, etc. Happy hunting.

We are driving down (from VA) the 19th and staying at a Days Inn (never stayed there before..so no pros/cons to offer...just on our way and much cheaper than staying in Cape Canaveral) about 30mins north of CC. Then we will get breakfast and head to the port in the morning. On Thursday we are going to hit Kennedy Space Center and then head to Animal Kingdom Villas for the next 3 nights...just to unwind before we head back home.

I still have to finish up my FEs and get it organized but I did start my pack pile. This week, I'll be kicking everything in high gear to get ready.

So I've been checking weather on accuweather for the next 15 days. All I see is rain in the forecast from Monday - Thursday when we're on the cruise. Anyone know what's going on?

I wouldn't worry to much about that. First, there's nothing we can do if it does rain. Second, down here in Florida, they always list chances of rain. In some parts of Florida, there's a rain shower every afternoon in the summer - but just for about an hour.

Of course, I can't promise rain won't be a problem. But unless we hear of tropical storms coming that way, I wouldn't worry too much about a lot of rain. Let's keep our fingers crossed

Just six more days and we'll be on the wonder for our first cruise and a few more, and we'll see you all on there too.

We also finished our fish extender gifts. I have to work tomorrow, but we will start packing some then and try to finish most of it Sunday.

Tomorrow at 11:05 we'll be flying to Orlando!!!!! It's the beginning of our Disney vacation!!! I can't wait... we're all sooooo excited!!!!

Hey everyone. Happy Saturday. I apologize for the long note, but want to include as much info as I can now for you.

So far we have 5 families participating in the FEs. Let's set August 31st as the deadline for people to join in the FEs. This will give us about 3 weeks to get the FE gifts ready, especially for those who will be arriving early to enjoy the parks or Orlando prior to the cruise.

For current participants, if you haven't sent me your stateroom numbers, please PM them to me before August 31st.

For new participants, if you are interested in being part of the FEs, please PM me the names in your family, ages of your children, any special day you might be celebrating on the cruise and your stateroom# by August 31st.

If you do not have your stateroom numbers by then, no problem, just send them to me when you have it.

I'll PM a final list of participants with all the pertinent information on Wednesday, September 2nd. If there are any changes after that especially stateroom numbers, I'll update the list and make it available for our meet. Some of you may get upgrades at the port, so we can update the list once we are at the meet as well.

FE Deliveries:
Since its a short 4 night cruise and there's so much to do, let's keep deliveries to 2x over the cruise if we have 6 families of less. If we have more than 6 families, let's do only 1 delivery. You may deliver the goodies anytime that works for you on the cruise.

I know some of you are already on your vacation but I"m going to attempt to reach out anyways. We have one family that will not be participating in the FE with us. So I've updated the list. Here is the latest information.

I thought I'd share ours as well. My hubby's aunt made it for us - we added the iron on disneyears for each person. But my favorite parts are the Disney ears at each end of the rod. My hubby made those.
