I just booked a parasailing for my husband and I at Castaway Cay and also booked that all day package (snorkeling, tube, Bike ride and stingray encounter) to do with the kids.
In Nassau I booked the submarine ride.
I know I can cancel my reservation so does anybody have any input in what we should or shouldn't do?

Sounds like a great plan. We haven't done either of those. We would really wanted to do the stingray encounter but DS is still a little too young, so we can't do the encounter at Castaway Cay. I have heard that the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon in Nassau is really great. We tried to do this last cruise but were told it might be better to wait till DS is a little older.

We also booked the parasailing at Castaway Cay on our Sept. 17. Hubby is quite excited. I'm still nervous, but I think I'll like it. We tried to do this on our last cruise, but it was canceled because of windy weather.

We were hoping to do some snorkeling as well, but weren't planning to get the equipment until we got there, just in case we found we didn't have enough time.

For now, we have nothing booked for Nassau. We've looked some, but we're thinking we may spend more time on board when we're at this port.

I have booked the feed the stingrays, we will do some snorkeling too. Can you hire a mask on the day or do you have to pre book or buy?

We are going over to Atlantis, we are just going to get a taxi rather than one of the excursions as we don't want a tour. I can't wait to go back there!!!! We got married there 8 years ago & plan to spend the day walking around & taking lots & lots of photos as we never had a digital camera back then. Also want to get some lunch in the restaurant where we had our wedding meal.

Have also booked Palo dinner & brunch & a spa treatment!

Has anyone ever booked a room at Comfort Suites to use the pool/beach at Atlantis? If so, is it worth the money or should we just take a taxi over to Atlantis and walk around the resort? Also, any cabin assignments for GTY 12? Thanks.

Based on the threads and our experience on the Magic, you'll definitely not be alone. I saw many people with costumes, though many without. We didn't wear them, and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. And we loved seeing what others were wearing.

Pixie Dust-Cat 12 GTY moves us to Cat 11 on Deck 7. Beats traveling in steerage or rowing on Deck 2. Worth the chance and wait.

I just checked this morning and we finally got our room assignment - from Cat 12, deck 2 to Cat 11 Deck 6. A little upgrade, but we'll take it!

So we had booked stateroom 7508 (oceanview) and today I printed our contract (to take signed to embarkation) and it said room 7524 with has a veranda... I'm soooooooooo excited right now!!! I hope they don't change us again!!! Please tell me they wont!!!!!

What comes in our travel doc? Do we get luggage tags?

When we cruised with carnival in march we booked only 2 weeks ahead so we didn't have time to receive travel docs in the mail so we just printed the tags online.

I am gathering some goodies for the FE exchange (DH thinks I am nuts by the way..he totally dose not get the FE thing). Now I just need to figure out what I am going to do about an FE exactly..I am thinking of going with more of a small tote bag instead of the fancier/cuter FE pics I have seen.

And I need to figure out how to print out all of my magnets with out spending a fortune.

How goes the planning for everyone else?

So here it is... Our very first fish extender!!! Eric and I worked on it all day Saturday and today I finished by ironing the pictures. I'm glad this is over and now I can concentrate on door magnets!!!

I have seen on other threads on here that people have hung a gift bag instead of an FE.

I have printed all my magnets, bought & wrapped most of my FE gifts just have a handful left to wrap. I have sorted out lots of things ready to pack....we are there for 3 weeks so have lots to pack!

So how do you wrap you gifts? paper? plastic? Are we supposed to put names on them?

Also... any idea when we get the final list of names so I know how any gifts I need???

I have wrapped mine in Disney wrapping paper & put a sticker on each one saying who it's to & from.

Linda (lc30) has the list, she has been tracking it when people have signed up. I think the cut off date is sometime in the next week or so. Then no new people will be able to sign up after that, it should then allow everyone enough time to finish buying etc.

I think there is a list further back on this thread but not sure if that is fully up to date.



Linda (LC30) will also need everyone's state room number for the FE list if you have been assigned them now then please let her know.
