In my effort to post daily now aswell, i just want to say hi to all the people who are new here since I was last around posting regularly. Our little Dis group has grown really big.

Sounds like we have a group of talkers! I don't homeschool, but dh and I (more him than me, lol) talk quite a bit because we don't get out much either

My husband has no excuse he doesn't homeschool and he is not undersocialized. He just talks. Put anyone next to him and he can't help himself. It doesn't matter who it is. My eldest dd is following in his footsteps. It amazes me that she can still be talking as she is going underwater during swimming lessons and still talking when she comes up. Sounds like they are going to fit in just fine.

Well they will get along great with my fiance, he is a big TALKER! Love him, but boy can he talk your ear off! Sometimes I have to remind him to breathe, lol. "See" you all tomorrow

LoriS, have you seen the warning unsocialized homeschool t-shirts? My son has one & a matching hat. I feel I must give people proper warning, after that you have spoken to him at your own risk. He talks more than I do. They have warning parent of an unsocialized homeschooler, but not one to warn of undersocialized parents!! I'm considering making one for my friends & me. I love your idea of the story w/ the pictures. We were planning on using the pictures for art, but I hadn't thought about a story to cover LA.
If I talk too much please let me know.

Wow - all these men who TALK!!! Most men have the opposite issue! My husband is another talker!!! When I met him, I was like.....oh, he is soooo deep and LOVES to talk! Now I cannot stop him!!! He talks waayyyy more than me!

ok earlier...much earlier I had posted a "schedule" of menus for each night...as of the new menus under FAQ sections updated 6/20/09

Sat - casual @ A, P or L depending on rotation
(****A=Animator's Palate show, P= Parrot's Cay Island Dinner, L=Lumiere's French Dinner)

Sun - casual @ A, P, or L depending on rotation**** see above options

Monday - formal night, The Golden Mickey Menu @ location NOT show or dinner.....A, P or L depending on rotation

Tuesday - casual the last of the rotation either A, P or L (same place as Monday night repeated ****)

Wednesday - Pirate Night Menu

Thursday - Semi Formal Captain's Gala Menu

My husband informed me tonight that I've always been a huge talker, even in high school. I rather like the homeschool excuse or maybe it's genetics, my mom is Italian & they are know for being talkers. They also love to talk w/ their hands, If I sit on mine I have trouble talking. Hubby wanted me to do it one time to see if I could still talk. I'm sure in time I would learn.
Does anyone else talk to the t.v. like the actors are really going to listen to you ?
On a sad note, I checked the bunnies a little while ago & one died. I took it & buried it. I hope that doesn't mean I was wrong about her coming back. The other two are very active. I found a wildlife rehabilitation person online tonight that I will call tomorrow. I guess I'm not real good w/ that whole survival of the fittest thing.

I feel very bad but I haven't been on here for quite a while, but my DH and I are still going. We will be in Cabin 7044, and are very excited about the cruise. I am very curious how all of you are finding out how many cabins are left empty. Because I would love to check for our other cruise.
We are going on the Sept.12th cruise and doing a back to back. But the most important thing to tell all of you is that WE GOT OUR CRUISE DOCS today for the first cruise, so that means the docs for this cruise are not far behind!!!!!!!!!!
Hope to see everyone soon, and really hope that the weather holds and we won't be starting our second Western cruise in a row when we start this one. I really want to do the Eastern on Sept 12th!!!!!!

It's after midnight, so we are officially sailing 1 month from today!!!
Checking in for our final role call. I think I got just about all of our shopping done this week. The only other things I may need are shoes for the girls, and I may try to find a new dress for formal night, but I want to wait a few more weeks for that. Can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing.

Can not even think about only one month to go! So much to do still!

Wonder if anyone else feels like me this week? The money is flying out the window as I begin the final round up of must haves for the cruise.

Today, picked up last of DS6 and DD4 embroderied t shirts. They will be fun for them to wear on the ship!

Also spent most of the day with my DS17 going from one place to the next after much on line research and price matching, we finally got him his early birthday present, a DSLR camera!! A huge gift and boy does he know it! Ended up with a Nikon D60 package and I am just glad to have that done. He now has a month to play before we sail and Mom gets some awesome pics. My only camera (not even kidding) is on my blackberry and I will not even be able to access it most of the cruise for fear of all the at sea additional fees! Maybe I can use the DS's old point and shoot he complained royally about the last 6 months? ha!

Picked up some "tops for dinner" for the DD14 who generally only wears tshirts if she can help it with her shorts or jeans I had purchased two pairs of capris a few weeks back and made her try them on and she was not happy to be told they were for the cruise. Those with these tops and one nicer dress for formal night? That's all I got folks. These are teenagers with minds of their own I tell you!

The DH STILL has NO start date for the new job. Lord have mercy on us all. We haven't a clue if he starts just days before the cruise, or the Monday (as in 2 days) after we get off the ship or ???? And we will need to buy a car in there someplace or I sit home "grounded" until we do, as his company car goes bye-bye with the old job (he's driven a company car for 20plus years!, a perk it will hurt to lose for sure)

And with that report? I am beyond broke

Checking in! It's actually still a day early (only 10:15 here) but I don't know if I'll be at the computer tomorrow! I'm catering a wedding reception this weekend and I am beyond stressed! Good morning!!!

Checking in - 4 weeks 2 days and we'll be flying to Orlando! Can't wait for the next 4 weeks to fly by.

Busy this week with my 2 West Virginia grandkids who are spending a week with us. The 4 Michigan grandkids will be here in an hour or so, then we're off to a fun day in the sun.

No call from DCL. We are in a sideways room which we have had at least 3 other times and we enjoy the seemingly extra space.

By the way, I'm a talker too! And, one of my DD's homeschools, too.

Steve and I have been very busy getting last minute stuff done especially since we are still working on wedding stuff, our pre cruise trip to Disney and our recent purchase of the DVC! Yikes! All of our FE gifts are finally done! I can't wait to see all the creative things everyone has come up with
I hope we get our cruise docs soon, does anyone know if you get them later if you go through DU or if they are sent directly to your house?

Checking in! Just one more month to go. Got the boys and girls FE gifts yesterday. Now just have to find the adults FE's.

Yesterday when we were shopping we saw a Dollar Tree Store so we went in, and they had some neat little things for FE gifts, and I had my two children with me (Who do not know they are going on a cruise in a month.) So I asked them if they were having a party would these make good little prizes. They said yes, but wanted to know why Mommy was buying them. Are we having a party, I said no. They are full of curiosity now, but I told them not to ask anymore questions, but they would be very surprised.

They questions finally stopped. Hopefully we can keep it a surprise.

LoriS-I keep watching to make sure you are still bringing the birthday girls!

There are still so many things to do. The pre-packing storage tub is now full of "cruise stuff" we have purchased. I'm wondering do we really need all this stuff?? but shoes ,now that's a different story and dresses of course!

I am so excited. The cruise is finally coming up really fast. I couldn't be more excited...well maybe if I knew our cabin number.

The wedding stress is over now let the honeymoon begin!
