I'm at my mom's and I have to post some pictures of the costumes she made. I posted on the main board also.

She has now made black pants to go w/ this.

This is DH's, it's a gold colored shirt, but my picture's not that good. Luckily my parents are letting me borrow their camera for the cruise.

My oldest is threatining to lock himself in the cabin that night. I told him I was going to wear the dress to the grocery store then, I mean isn't a mother's goal in life to totally humiliate her teenager! :lmao: My mom's making him a shirt incase he changes his mind.
OMG those are AMAZING!

You won't miss us in the port in these shirts...please say hello...here are our mickey tie-dyed shirts we made!!

I found a link to a WC Navigator from June this year. If I print it out to be able to go ahead and highlight what we might want to do onboard do you think it will change much by the time we cruise?

Hi, everyone!

disneyfinatics - Oh, my!! I would wear that dress to the store!!! ;)
All your outfits are AWESOME!!!

dennismcneely - that is so sweet of you to offer to bring souvenirs for people!

paige - I love the shirts!!! And cute picture of your family, but you should have used the self timer and jumped in yourself!! :yay:

gamomof2 - I was wondering the same thing about the navigators, but I did read that they do change things up often, so it might not be the same stuff. But hey, it's worth a try! :confused3

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has in GTY has gotten their room assignments yet? 46 days out and nothing yet??

As soon as I made our final payment, we were immediately assigned a room number. I wonder if that means that you're more likely to get an upgrade? Good luck!!

I have read (here on DIS) that they assign usually between 45 days and 35 days....so we are right there so keep checking....sending you some pixie dust Gretchen! pixiedust: And thanks we think our shirts came out good too (you never know until you see 'em!) I avoid pictures when possible (bad habit) but last night it was neccessary because I do not have a timer :sad2: and I looked like a scallie wag pirate:

Wow a lot of posting going on!

We just got moved in Friday, and I am still painting and unpacking at the same time. We finally got our internet back yesterday. When you live in the country, it is not as easy to hook up to the internet as if you were in the city.

I still have to figure out my pirate costume, and find the boys ties and vest for formal night, and fix FE gifts.

But they will probably have to wait a week, because my Mom flies in next Tuesday and the house is still a wreck from moving.

After her visit I will be buckling down for our vacation.

Everyone's costumes, formal wear and shirts look great.

There has been a lot of posting going on, I wish I could post more, but I simply can't find the time. Sometimes I wish there was more hours in a day. Anyways, I agree that everyones, outfits, costumes, shirts, etc look great! What a talented group! Yes, we are also still a GTY, checking everyday, hope we all hear something soon, and we all get a little pixie dust!

Hi all,
Just popping in to see all the pictures and how everyones planning is coming along. popcorn:: Got my FE today. I ordered it on ebay and it looks wonderful. I had done the same thing for DM as a Christmas present last year, so we are all set there.

Had a minor set back on the cruise planning mode. DM suffered a minor heart attack on Saturday. Definately an eye opening experience. After tons of tests and doctors, she is cleared for the cruise. :thumbsup2 She just got out last night and she is already finalizing her FE gifts this morning. Nothing is holding that woman from Mickey (or it may be Goofy)

Well off to do some more planning, shopping and more shopping. See everyone next month!! Wow-hard to believe we can say that now. :goodvibes

oh no! I am so glad she is cleared to cruise and feeling better. Thinking of her and wishing her continued improvement so she can enjoy spending time with Mickey AND Goofy!!:lovestruc

Hi, everyone! :wave2:

I'm so excited!! I just started REALLY packing stuff to go!! Princess costumes, little sweaters that we might need in the cool night air (that we DEFINITELY will not use here in Hotlanta until then!!!! Whew!), rash guards, etc......

It makes it seem more real now! And I was thinking......a little over 6 weeks to go!!! I think it's going to FLY BY!!! I know we all stay so busy, with kids, family, school starting, and weddings, etc., etc., it will go so fast!!! :laundy: :bride: :hyper:

Pixie dust to all!! pixiedust:

Has anyone used this company before?

http://www.cruiselineformal.com/cf_pages/packages.php?c=dcl

I was thinking of renting their Classic Black tux package for $85.

No experience... How about buying? JCPenney is running a sale on tuxedo separates: coat $70, pants $30, shirt/cummerbund/bowtie set $30, shoes $30. But you can find some good deals on nice tuxedos on eBay (Larry the Tuxxman is great :thumbsup2) I only mention this because the tux pays for itself on your next cruise.

My thought and prayers are with your family, hoping for a speedy recovery!!
I will send you good thoughts for a speedy recovery. :goodvibes
I've been thinking of you this week. Hope all is well with HC and the hospital stay.
:wave2: Hey all, thanks for the well wishes. Yes, feeling much better now...of course the hospital stay could have been better had they offered unlocked wi-fi access  Turns out there are other hosiptals in town that do...yes, I'm hospital shopping based on amenities, after all, wouldn't you pick the place that offers made-to-order room service food and free wi-fi over one that doesn't? pirate:

Hi everyone! I'm loving all the photos!
We're starting to really countdown here, saving up some extra spending $$$ to apply to our Onboard Account (to cover all the shore excursions...and the 9 yr. old, lol). Do you guys usually pre-pay your gratuities? We're thinking about it, but for our family of four it comes out to $385 :scared1: Just trying to figure out the budget, and though it may be easier to not have to worry about it and just enjoy the cruise.

That is just too funny! Glad to see your humor is still intact. It's one of life's best medicines I find! Although, absolutely, I'd go for made to order meals and free wi-fi as well! Hoping NOT to find out or shop around for that before we set sail though!

Stay well!
