I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for the congratulations, well wishes and pixie dust!

Our wedding was magical. When you marry your Prince Charming it's a given. He treats me like a princess.

Monica-Have you gotten any feedback from those with missing info on the FE list? I know we have 34 cabins. I want to make sure I don't leave any of the children out. I am making specific gifts for boys/girls.

Congratulations to everyone who is booking ressies and getting what they want. Reading the posts on everyone that is now booking ressies makes it all seem so real.

Now I need to get busy...FE gifts, magnets, shopping, packing and of course more PLANNING...only 102 days to go!

Hi all I finally got a minute to post the reservations we made. Here they are:

Sun 9/20: Palo Dinner 6pm (so we can have two dinners, lol)
Mon 9/21: Palo Brunch 11am
Wed 9/23: Scuba Tour for Steve 10:45 am
Wed 9/23: Jungle Hike for me 10:15am
Thurs 9/24: Couples Well Being Massage 3:15pm
Fri 9/25: Extreme Getaway (snorkel, rays, bikes and float rental) 10:00am

So that's everything we wanted...I am so tempted to book more stuff but decided to leave time open to do spontaneous things

The Roll Call was STOPPED to not cause any confusion and keep from MANY being left- off. It caused some painc for some that had registered early on but just do not get a chance or have time to post or check in here that often

There are only THREE cabins (2 familes) that we do not have children info for and I have posted here AND sent Private Messages/Emails so not sure what else we can do to try to gather the info. Thanks so much for the offer to help but unless anyone knows them and can help fill in the gaps - that's all we can do.

I had posted a note last week that if anyone wanted the most up-to-date list to PM me and I can either email it in Excel or transfer it to a Word Doc for you and get it to you

So, just let me know and I can get it out ASAP but there is NOT a Roll Call any longer so PLEASE PLEASE use the list that we have!!! Many of us are just doing gifts "per cabin" and can use the list as it is. I realize that some are doing them "per child" but we can only work with the info. given to us so hopefully we will hear from the 2 families we are missing info. from.

There are others that are still GTY so I know that will slowly start to come in.

Would anyone like to volunteer their cabin as the one that has the cabin changes listed if there are any at the Port??

Sinderelly, can't wait to see some wedding pics (hint hint!) Sounds like it was magical!

I'm getting a wee bit nervous over here. Haven't been able to post about it until now. The DH, who has worked for the same employer for 25 years, yes, our entire married life, is taking a new job. aahhh! Talk about life being a bit uncontrolable at the moment, oiy! Thing is, a start date is still up in the air for various reasons. Sooo, vacation days and the all clear to make my final payment and book whatever I am hoping to book is all just in this terminal holding pattern. I may soon lose my mind, I'm telling you! I need this cruise more then ever! We are talking a 6 month process already with this job thing and probaly a few more months until we know when he makes the transition We are so used to having 6 plus weeks of vacation time and just doing whatever/whenver with it we want I honestly never even thought this would be coming up when I planned this vacation.

so I just keep on planning what I can, buying what we will need, and telling myself it will all work out and hoping it will!

so FE questions, kinda crazy questions I guess. I know Yonkrsgirl has said she does a cabin gift and I can easily see how this would be a fine idea as I get deeper and deeper into my FE planning

BUT! Here's my question! as I have planned to do boy/girl/some age specific kinda gifts and a gift for families or cabins or adults or whatever you want to say . I am planning on delivering things in at least 2 or 3 seperate trips. DH and DD and I all like to explore and take walks so I thought we could do this along the way, maybe just doing a deck or two at a time. Does that sound feasable to you all? I mean, if you are only doing the one cabin gift, how do you decide who's "pocket" to put it into? My FE will have individual pockets for each of our kiddos and one together for myself and DH? Is this not good? I don't want my FE to look greedy or something? kwim? I know my little ones are excited to see what shows up each day. I have a feeling I may just be dropping mystery gifts into my own kiddos pockets randomly! We often have done this at WDW by putting little things out in room each day. What are you all thinking?

Also, is anyone mailing their FE gifts ahead of time? I'm pretty sure I will need to do this with limited space in our vehicle. Makes me nervous though! I have even thought "worst case scenario" I spend my time in Key West replacing no show FE gifts!

I would offer to put the cabin list on our door BUT as we are 2GTY cabin's and no one will know our cabin numbers until 30 days or so out? Probably not the best candidate! I do agree we need to post it on someones door though, not just in a public meeting place as it may get taken down, kwim?

Keep the pictures coming everyone! It is really fun to put faces and names together!

kileybeht - Lots of Pixie Dust from us, too!

As far as which "Pocket" to put the gifts in - for us we just always let the kids get them out so it didn't matter which pocket it was placed in We just all got excited to see something in there and the kids would grab it out and we would all head into the cabin to check out what we had received

So, it doesn't matter if you have different pockets for each family member - most FE's do and ours does, too! So just pick a pocket and have fun

Hope that helps! And it is such a personal choice on how you want to do your gifts. I have done it both ways - by cabin and by adults and kids - and for this cruise, we just decided to do it per cabin

Kileybeth-Take a deep breath and know we are thinking good thoughts and wishing you the best. Our cruise just wouldn't be the same w/o you. We know you will be on that ship! Can your DH tell his new employer your family already had travel plans booked before he accepted the new job? I think most employers would be understanding if plans were made before your DH knew about the new job.

FE gifts-I like the FE pockets for each family member idea. If someone is giving gifts per person they will need all those pockets. If they are giving by cabin they can just choose a pocket. Some of our gifts may or may not fit in the pockets. I don't know the average pocket size. We are new at all this.

Paige-Your kids are cute! I like the matching tie dye shirts pic.

I will post a wedding pic if I can figure out how. I only have one right now.

awww, thanks everyone for the good vibes and well wishes. It should be all good just a matter of how many days he can take and will we need to make it a get on/off the ship with no leisure time on either end, etc. DH will try to get an answer asap but it's complicated. . . ha! Have to share more when we meet!

'nother question? does anyone know if someone has planned to do embossed silicone braclets for our disgroup or not? I think they would run around a buck a piece. Any interest there? Kinda fun to spot our members as the week goes by. any thoughts?

Yes, that is the general idea BUT someone still needs to front the cost and order them as the minimum order for them is usually 100 bracelets and that is still the "slightly better then a dollar a piece" price. Although the couple websites I have checked with all have free shipping so that's good.

We could hand them out either at the cruise meet on Saturday, first day of cruise or mail them out to anyone willing to send $$ through the mail with a self addressed stamped envelope for the order-er to have cost covered completely??!!

anyone? I guess I really like the idea of a braclet as opposed to a shirt as it is much more realistic to put out a few dollars per family then upwards of $30-$60 per family for cheap $10 t-shirts, kwim?

ah, well, hopefully I will know something by the end of this week, I am super stressed thinking about not being able to do this cruise. My little ones will be so sad. ugh. it's late and I can not even go there in my thoughts!
