hello to all checking in during a lull at work! sorry about my SLACK-NESS on the yahoo group...I will go in and approve people tomorrow I promise still trying to get everything set up for work so YIKES have I missed a lot! but it will make the cruise come quicker! already sold one house please pray that I can sell some more! It would really help during these super TIGHT times.

Oh and I forgot to post....we have not gotten our kit yet but I did ask my TA and she said some TA (like her) have the packets come to them 1st so they can review and make sure everything is in there before going out to the customer....so if anyone else did not get one then that may be the case for you too!

HI everyone, just checking in. I've been really slack. Every now and then I will come onto the boards and think, I will just ask this question, or check this out and then will sit and read the crusie meet thread. And then life gets in the way. DH and I also keep saying that we will sit down for a few hours and plan out the trip together. We tried last night, but by the time the rest of the family had left (it was mothers day here and we did the family lunch), and we had got the kids to bed, we were exhausted. We talked about a couple of things, ie: Palo and the spa, but thats as far as we got. We'd better get moving though. We booked the REAS package so can book at 105 days and that is coming up really quickly. Plus I have to decide on my ADR's for our week at AKL the week before. Although, I've got a fair idea of what I want there. I guess I just have to wait for the hours to be released to firm up the days.
Sounds like everyone is starting to get organised. I've started my FE shopping. I'm just not sure how many to buy, whether I should be doing it per person, per family, per child. I need to go over the old FE post to read up on the rules. Maybe its time I started actually making my FE. I've got some spare time between 2 and 3am in the morning. hehe.
Now don't laugh but I have already sort of started to pack. Its a bit easier for me though. We are coming into winter, so I have been able to take all our summer clothes and shove them into a suitcase. I will sort through them later, but we are not going to need them again until we arrive in Orlando.

aboard cdfl30, so good to have more people joining us. I looked at your photos and I have to say that they are SO good , congrats! I especially like the pictures of Rum Point, since we are planning to go there during our Grand Cayman day in Sept. Do you know if there are waverunners available for rent? Any good place to have lunch? I thank you in advance for your help.

We are first time cruisers ! Well, my DH and my kids are. I have been once on a Carnival cruise that my DM took me on for my 16th birthday (but that was soooo long ago.)

Welcome to all of the new Dis people!

We have lots to do to get ready as well! It seems like we are always busy! We haven't planned very much yet except the resort and the cruise! We still have to decide on Palo, spa, excursions, etc,etc. We are thinking about MNSSHP but DH is worried that the kids might be to sleepy the next day, so we are still not sure. Still have to make my FE and buy/make gifts as well. We have started packing, well sort of... I have a large box that I put anything new that I bought for the cruise into (watershoes, glow in the dark bracelettes, etc)

We are also first time cruisers. It will be just DHTB and I celebrating our honeymoon onboard.

Kileybeth-I haven't received the final FE list either. I have started on part of our FE gifts but am waiting on the list to start the gifts for the kids. I am thankful for the lack of baggage restrictions on Southwest airlines. I'm pretty sure the FE gifts are going to take up a whole suitcase.

Can you say flith florin' flith %&^&! On a personal note and of course while my husband is traveling for work (murphy's Law) I walked out the front door yesterday to find that little black bugs were swarming around....guess what they were...termites! my house is only a couple of years old too.
yep now I gotta pay over $1000 for termite treatment to make sure that we do not incur any damage! this is a real nitch in the cruise plans . dh and I have not talked about it yet and I hope it does not stop us from cruising!
not that you wanna hear my dooms day report but since dh left...my work laptop that I own and need for my job...yep you guessed it...another challenge...the Windows operating system went cuput on me too.
My garage was starting to look like a dump yard and after the termite guy came and had to inspect the garage I was mortified...so i spent my mother's day with my 7 yr old son (great lil worker I might add) cleaning out my garage and mowing my lawn....jobs usually done by the traveling dh but I just could not stand it anymore! So please please pray that I make it thru all these bumps in the road...I keep trying to swerve but to no avail.
today I am working on the house and laundry and I am so sick and tired of it so far so I had to check in with you great people in the hopes that some of you might send some pixie dust my way I sure could use it!

Yes, I took the photos in my signature, photography is my hobby. Thanks for the compliments If you click on the link below the signature, you can see some of the photos I have posted from last week's cruise. It will take me weeks to get them all up so keep checking back!

I am excited about having another cruise to look forward to so soon. We live only two hours from Port Canaveral so cruising is a relatively inexpensive vacation option for us, especially when they have FL resident rates. If we had to pay for airfare and kids (we don't have any), I seriously doubt we would be going on one so soon.
