While I am not a couple, I will be turning 25 on sail-away-day and I definitely don't have kids, so I guess I kind of fit into the category! I'm on late dinner seating too. I have big plans for laying by the adults' pool by day and playing in Rockin Bar D all night! Can't wait!

Sooo, what's everyone up to this gloomy, cold, rainy May? oh yeah, that's just where I live!

You know, Delaware? Where 33% of the nations swine flu cases have been confirmed? In this tiny little state? ugh! More cases per capita then any other state? Cozumel is sounding safer then DE at the moment! Gotta wonder what September will bring?

C'mon out here sweetie...forecast this week:

Wed: mid-high 90s, clear
Thur: mid-high 90s, clear
Fri: mid-high 90s, clear

DW and her "sister" are native-born Delawareans. In fact, her sister's brother is babysitting our black & white plate until we (ever) move back.

So this is not an addition to the roll call, yet...

We (party of 5: me, DW, DSIL, DS3, DD1) have decided on our vacation for this year and I think we've settled on the 9/19 Western because the 9/26 is Eastern and "we've done that already".

I think we have to settle on our after-cruise plans (probably WDW, maybe Universal for a day) as well as deciding if we're going to attempt to make a trip to my relatives in FL so they can see the baby. The last time we saw them, DD was an infant. I'll probably settle down this w/e and place the deposit.

Oh my gosh, another Arizonaian!! Yeah!! Can't wait to hear if your joining our "magical" group! Don't you just love this heat?!? But, it's a dry heat is what everyone keeps telling us, only it doesn't seem so dry when your clothes need to be peeled off. Lived here for over 30 years and it still takes some getting used to when it comes around!

oohhh so glad I am not in AZ...I really do not like heat! Although I am from GA...not dry...humid heat!! Just dream of the ocean breeze!

I guess we're Arizonans...DW insisted we at least register her vehicle since the (out-of-state) plates expired in March. I wasn't too concerned as the plates on my vehicle expired March 2008 Having the base sticker/ID kinda helped and now that I have my "exemption" adjudicated by a court, I wasn't in any hurry to switch plates.

But we went to MVD and don't you know there wasn't a soul around? Certainly not my experience with DMVs in CA, TX and elsewhere. Delaware has only 3 offices to cover the whole state but they are exceedingly efficient...if you know how to work "the system". So now we both have pretty Arizona Highways plates, sequential numbers too. You know, the plates with the pretty evening scene of AZ and white lettering, making it really hard to read even for the photoradar cameras...

Wait, what am I saying? I paid AZ state taxes...they took out $25 from my tax refund check for some inexplicable reason...we're Zoners alright!

dang! Just wrote this typical-for-me-way-to-long post and it went into cyber land never to be recovered!

so anyway, I'm packing my bags, I'm on my way to visit Arizona, I could use some dry heat about now! DE humidity is killing me.

Remember stepping off the plane in Las Vegas to 107 degrees and touring Hoover Dam in 103 degrees and thinking, is it really that hot? Feels okay to me? It's the humidity that does me in. DH had buisness in Arizona this past winter and absolutely loved it!

Not sure if anyone's interested, but I was able to get a room on Hotwire at the Hyatt this afternoon for the night before the cruise... and after I booked, it was still showing (it's the 4 star with 140+ comments in the trip advisor rating) as available... With tax and all was like $84...

hmmmmm I normally don't use Hotwire/Priceline as I'd prefer to get my hotel points. Besides, someone else is paying the bill But....this is a pretty decent deal so perhaps we'll look into it.

Hey all...got some good news:

PAID IN FULL!!!! WOOHOO!!!
and on top of that only one other payment to make on the land portion which I should be able to do this week since it was my birthday yesterday and I got some money

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to send me the final FE list as well. I think I have it, but I just want to be sure, don't wanna miss any of my fellow friends!!!

Welcome jonesing, glad you are going to make it official with our group! Thanks for the info on the Hyatt nvcruiser! I have been meaning to check that out. We don't get in until 5:00 pm the night before we sail and I think that would be the best route. Last year, we stayed at the Radisson, which I loved, but, we also arrived earlier.

Hooray! I've still got that final payment looming over me too! Just waiting for my end of the semester paycheck and I'm done! Can't wait for it to get here, yet there's still so much to do!

Thanks for the FE list. I put it in my binder with all our other cruise "stuff". Now I can finish ordering my FE supplies.

Tammy-I tried to reply to your email but it came back undeliverable.

We are also flying in the day before, renting a car and driving to the CIS in Port Canaveral.

Congrats on the final and almost final payments everyone. We made our final payment with the tax refund check. It sure feels good to be paid in full!

I can't wait to see those tickers with 3 months plus to go. 3 months seems like it's just around the corner. My head is spinning..FE gifts, packing, magnets, excursions, Palo and the WEDDING!
